Down dark alleys [closed]

With the sun high in the sky, Elsa started her trek through the Twolegplace. She didn't often venture deep into the dark alleyways, but today she had to make an exception. She hadn't had any luck with hunting yet today, and she wanted to ensure herself a meal- meaning she had to turn to Twolegplace rats. The loner didn't mind them all that much, besides that they were the only prey she could think of that liked to fight back. Otherwise, they were a decent food source, as long as they weren't poisoned.

The Twolegplace was a whole other thing though. It felt like she was almost always being watched when she went in it, like something was stalking her as if she were prey. It made her feel terribly uneasy, so she always was sure to take as little time as possible when hunting here. Another thing she often had to be careful of is to make sure that any alley she ventures down isn't occupied. Cats who live in alleys don't appreciate any other cats invading their space. The she-cat somewhat understood that, but there was no reason for their extreme hostility. She peered around a corner that lead down a particularly dark alley. It didn't seem to hold a scent, so it was unlikely that there was a cat living there, which was perfect! Turning down the alley, she sniffed the air and smelled rats... and something else... something faint. Oh no, had she been wrong!? Did this alley belong to some cat? Looking ahead, she saw a pair of eyes in the darkness. "Who... Who are you? If this is your territory, i'm terribly sorry, i can leave."

The fire has lead his paws away from Skyclan territory. It was barren and unwelcoming now, more so than the cursed heat for the last moon. Iniko found himself in need of a more sheltered place to rest, even if for now it meant drifting further away from Tanglerose. He longed for her companionship in his endeavors. What a selfish and kittish desire. This idea spurred his paws forward, driving a thorn between the toes of his pads at this unusual impulsive ideals. Other things preoccupied his mind and took precedence. But for not he merely was left to wrestle with his own mind. An encounter with another cat was what he crave. Perhaps it would ease the burden of his conscious for a moment. For this reason, the scent of a stranger pulled him forward. Claws flexed into the stone before sliding back into their sheaths. Whether this be a fight or a conversation, he was not opposed to either.

Bloodstrike had last tested his skills and it had been thrilling. Between their exchanges of both words and blows, he'd found fire rushing through his ears. Tanglerose had brought another sensation, one of otherworldly hope and intrigue itching underneath his pelt. The forest was his most thrilling adventure, decidedly so. Twin pools of emerald gazed curiously at Elsa. As the calico tom padded forward, he offered her a smile. There was a twist of his head in a nod before he settled back on his haunches. She appeared frightened and submissive. A talk it was after all.

"I'm merely a traveler. This territory does not belong to me. The name is Iniko. Who might you be?"

"Oh- my name is Elsa, i probably should've introduced myself first. Nice to meet you, Iniko" The she cat said the words with a hint of laughter in her voice. "You said you were a traveler, implying that you don't usually settle anywhere? Or is it that you're just traveling through the town- er... Twolegplace?" Elsa wasn't usually too curious about cats that she met, but she could say that Iniko was an exception. She hadn't seen him around before, and it was unusual to meet a loner like her, or any cat for that matter, who wasn't interested in tearing apart every cat they saw. It was almost relieving.
