"We're not Windclan, but it was better to try rather than let it run. You did well." Smokefeather responded, lightly brushing her tail along Primrosepaw's back. Given the circumstances, at least they''d caught something. She was about to say their hunting was done for the day, at least in this particular area, but Primrosepaw spoke first.
"Bossy," Smokefeather laughed at Primrosepaw's decisiveness. "But yes, we'll take this back to 'camp' and we'll spar later, okay?" Smokefeather fell into step next to her apprentice, willing to let her lead and correct course if necessary.
