| Pinespirit weakly looked at the kits. She'd almost forgotten what her parents looked like. The black tom with brown ears appeared in her mind. Her father. Blackstorm. A cat, much smaller than the tom, sat next to him with a giant grin. She was black, but had many brown markings. Her ears. Her tail. Her paws. Her chest. Tawnyspot. Pinespirit blinked away the image. She hadn't thought of her parents since... since.. forever! She picked up her head to see the 3 kits better. She licked them slowly, purring. She slowly brought her tail close to them.

| Pinespirit couldn't deny that. It would make Mudpuddle devastated. "I thought Amberkit would be nice, but Lionkit is much better!" she mewed. She looked around. Something grey. It would fit the small grey one. A rock caught her eye. "This one should be Rockkit!" she added, giving the kit a short lick. ______________________________________ |
