| The snow fell calmly. Nothing stirred. Not even the birds were out singing their songs. It was so peaceful. Suddenly, in the warriors' den, a high-pitched yowl awoke all those who were resting and startled the nesting birds. A sharp twinge of pain was enclosing Pinespirit. She knew what was going on. And she needed a medicine cat. Fast.

| Burnsorrow took awhile to wake up. He traveled out towards the others, sitting under a trees black shadow next to Mudpuddle. He was making sure Mudpuddle didn't breathe to heavily, before he passes out.
