Vinetail is worried and confused by the Asylum cats giving them new rules.

Wisp, the young Asylum cat, wants to make some friends! He has been placed in Shadowclan.

| "Today we name another apprentice." The deputy said. "Fernkit please come forward." Stormbringer waited for a moment for the soon to be apprentice to step forward before speaking again. "Fernkit. From this moment on, until you earn your warrior name, you will be known as Fernpaw. Your mentor will be Poppybloom. She may be young but I believe that energy will be wonderful for the both of you." | Poppybloom had been surprised when she heard she was to be a mentor already, but she was pleased with the development. She had a strong desire to interact with the younger members of the Clan, to be able to model for them so they could also grow into honorable warriors for RiverClan. She watched with amusement as Fernkit bounded forward. That level of enthusiasm would serve her well. As the ceremony went on, the tortoiseshell warrior stepped forward, lowering her head to touch noses with her new apprentice. ______________________________________ |

As a kit herself, she couldn't help but to look up at her clanmate in awe including the older cat that had made the announcement.The other warrior who touched noses with Fernkit, no, Fernpaw looked surprised but content as well as any of the others nearby.
