Sinking in the river (Open to all! please join...)

"Yay!" She squealed, paddling out to the deeper waters. "Look! I'm doing it!" She yowled back to them.

"Good job!" Willowpaw shouted to Fernkit.
She made sure to stay nearby Fernkit, just in case she went under.  She wasn't too cautious, though, because Fernkit was proving herself to be a really strong swimmer.
"If you think you are able to and willing to try, you could try diving under."

Diving under? Fernkit was terrified of going underwater! She had to do it! She had to prove herself! She dunked underwater and opened her eyes. Fish! Fish everywhere! She paddled back up, a proud look on her face "I did it! I did it!" She squealed.

"Great job!" Willowpaw liked teaching. It made her feel proud, and now she couldn't wait till she was a warrior and could have an apprentice.  She was glad that she was going to be a warrior soon.
"Once you get used to it, you can even catch fish while underwater, like so," Willowpaw dove under the water and grabbed a fish swimming by.  She pulled it up, swam and set it on the bank, then swam back to Fernkit.

"I know how to swim now! I'm big enough to be an apprentice, do you think I can?" She asked, putting her feet down in the shallow area near the shore.
OOC: You can say whatever you want for this, even though I can make her an appie.

Willowpaw swam up to her, feeling her feet touch the bottom.
"I think you are," Willowpaw told her, "but have you reached the age of six moons?"

"I am! I am!" She was eager to be an apprentice.

"I think you'll be a great apprentice." Willowpaw wanted her first apprentice to be like Fernkit.  
"We might even be denmates for a little while, before I become a warrior."  she liked the thought.
"You're a great swimmer!" Willowpaw commented, "It took me awhile to learn at first, but I eventually got the hang of it, otherwise I wouldn'tve been the one to teach you."

She nodded vigorously.

Willowpaw hopped up onto the bank and gave a slight shake to rid the water from her fur.  She leaped up onto a rock and stood up straight.
"From this day forth," Willowpaw said, in a mock-serious voice, "until you receive your warrior name," her serious voice sounded so bad, she was trying hard not to make herself laugh, "you shall be known as Fernpaw!"  Willowpaw broke out laughing.  She couldn't have convinced anyone of her being serious if her life depended on it.
Once she got too tired from laughing, she asked Fernkit a question.
"When do you think that you'll have your real ceremony?"

"I dunno, but soon, definitely!" She replied. She was still a bit small, but she was short. She smiled at Willowpaw. "I like you." She said happily.

"I like you too." Willowpaw thought that this might be the start of a great friendship. 

"What do you want to do now?" she asked, not knowing what to do next.

"I dunno..." She started to think.

“Maybe we could play water fight?” Streampaw suggested. “If you would like, Fernkit. I used to love to play that as a kit.” She flinched as she thought about when she was just made an apprentice, when she loved to play water fight. This was before she was bitten by the fox and had almost died. Streampaw shivered slightly, but forced a smile on her face.

"how do you play?" She tilted her head.
