Nightpaw's Moonstone Journey

Nightpaw smiled. The starclan really comforted him. "Ok thanks!" Said Nightpaw.

The starry white warrior nodded his head deeply with respect. "I'm glad we could chat," Lightstep said. He smiled at Nightpaw. "Is there anything else you'd like to ask, Nightpaw, before we send you back to Ivystar and the Moonstone?"

Nightpaw shook his head. "No not really. But whats your name? I didn't catch it." Said Nightpaw.

Lightstep chuckled. "Oh, of course," he answered, rolling his eyes with mild embarrassment, "I apologize. My name is Lightstep, son of Stormstrike." He dipped his head again and then smiled at Nightpaw once more. The stars around the two cats began to fade as the apprentice began waking up. Lightstep stood. "It was good meeting you, Nightpaw. Remember not to be afraid; no cat is ever truly alone, in life or in death. You must simply open yourself to see others. You're doing well. Keep it up." Then Lightstep was gone.

Ivystar lifted her head from her paws when she saw Nightpaw begin to stir, tail tip twitching lightly as she watched. He'd be waking soon, and then they'd begin the journey back to RiverClan camp, where the tom could hopefully get a bit of rest after such a trip. "Nightpaw," She said gently, getting to her paws. The sun would be rising before too much longer, and she hoped that the tom could at least get a bit of sleep in. She made a note to go easy on him today; he needed rest if she wanted him to do well on the day's patrol.

Nightpaw got up. He wasn't in Starclan anymore since the first thing he heard was his mentor and leader. He yawned and then jumped up ready to go home.
