"If the leaders of the earthen ground will not punish your treason, you will face the wrath of the stars. You have been warned."
The hiss of the wish of her ancestors sent shivers down Mistleshine's spine. Fear bubbled within her and grew with each step back towards Riverclan camp. What would she say to Torrentstar, and Ivybrook? That Starclan demanded justice, unless they wished to be wiped off the face of the territories by them? Dread pooled into the she-cat's stomach as she thought of the chilling, sympathy void voice of Owlstar. His demands did not match her morals, but the gray and white tuxedo had no choice. Her duty was to deliver the message from the stars, even if she did not agree.
She looked down at her apprentice and offered a shy smile, though it didn't quite reach her eyes. She felt sympathy for her him; he was so young, inexperienced, and already terrified of the daunting messages Starclan often sent. Her first prophecy traumatized her, leaving her with nightmares for many sunrises, and she was sure that their shared vision would do the same to the hairless tom. She would help him through those trying times, just as Pricklebush had done before her. Her tail twitched as she thought of something to say to him. She settled on trying to lighten the mood. "Starclan isn't that scary when they're in a good mood. Still, you kind of get used to their scary riddles and intimidating figures," she meowed, chuckling awkwardly. It was a sorry excuse for a conversation starter, but it was one, nonetheless.
