A Fast Encounter [Closed]

He had just let his paws guide him to where he was. The setting sun casting a red hue over the white world that was their territory. It wouldn't be long before night fall. Why his paws carried him to the fourtrees he didn't know. Yellow eyes looked to Thunderclan territory, or well looking past it, to Skyclan. His old home... He didn't know how many moons ago it was but it was many of them. He was born there, apprenticed there, but shortly after he moved to Windclan with his mother. He still wasn't sure if that was ever the right choice, but he made his choice twice now and he was a warrior to Windclan. Though he couldn't help but wonder how things would have changed. How different they would be.

Coniferpaw was out and about, mostly avoiding his brother's harebrained antics. If he had to watch Leopardpaw risk his life for a stupid scheme one more time he was going to lose it. So he went on a stroll instead of staying in camp, following wherever his big lumbering paws would take him. Eventually emerging from the forest, he found himself in a clearing. Fourtrees. He stopped, taking in the fine view. Even for a relatively large cat like himself, the scale of it all was astounding. Four towering trees, as the name implied, surrounded a huge rock in the center of the clearing. Light peeking through the swaying branches of the trees danced on the frost-encrusted grass. He let out a relieved breath, momentarily forgetting the perpetual headache that was his older brother. He was calm for once.

Of course this didn't last long, as he spotted an older warrior in the other side of the clearing. Coniferpaw's ears flattened against his head as he cautiously approached the other cat. He didn't dare speak, claws unsheathed and ready to put up at least a decent fight if he had to.

Yellow eyes scanned the clearing as Ploverpuddle heard another sound but he wasn't sure what exactly it was. The tom didn't want to cause any issues for anyone but he wasn't exactly doing anything wrong at the current point in time. Not that he planned to do anything outside of the code anyway today. His eyes returned back to the area that Skyclan rested behind the trees. He couldn't help but wonder how Tinylegs was.. His only living relative as far as he was concerned.

Coniferpaw's lip curled. The other cat hadn't noticed him yet. A weird feeling rose in his chest, one that egged him on and goaded him to fight this cat. For once in his life, he obliged. Claws unsheathed, he ran at the distracted tom and barreled into him, knocking him to the ground with a dull thump. He was in deep now, nothing to do but continue the fight.

Ploverpuddle let out a cry as soon as he was attacked. Why was he being attacked. Quickly the Windclan tom straightened himself, whirling around to face his attacker. Soon his eyes landed on a young tom. An apprentice... Oh dear. He didn't want to fight an apprentice but he wasn't given a choice seeing how the tom already attacked him. The gray and white warrior just lashed out a single clawed paw out at the tom.
