A little fun as an apprentice

Icepaw pads out of the apprentice den, shes excited to be an Apprentice. She doesn't have training right now so she walks around the clearing. She has a lot of energy and nothing to do with it. "You should explore soon" She thought to herself. She knew good as well she shouldn't leave camp in the cold and without a warrior. She didn't have anyone to take with her either. Smudgepaw and Cedarpaw are fond of each other and are rarely seen apart. Being a kit is much more fun then an apprentice, there's no games to play, but she also wants to be one of Oakstars best warriors. She wants to be reliable and swift.

Icepaw wandered around the clearing until she found a patch of sunlight and slouched down into it. She let out a groan and closed her eyes. The boredom of the camp was overbearing. She was energetic and wanted to run for a while, but she wasn't going to cross the boarders by accident and have to stay in camp, so she decided to not leave and just wait for someone to bother her.

Cedarpaw padded up to Icepaw. “Hi Icepaw.” She smiled, looking at her friend. She shook the snow out of her tawny pelt. “What do you wanna do?” She moved into the patch of sunlight, the warm feeling on her fur spreading. “Ahhh...” she sighed.

(Time for smudge to “Be around cedar a lot” like ice said :3)

Smudgepaw padded into camp after dustcloud and saw his friends. He purred noticing how happy Cedarpaw was and also noticed how bored Icepaw looked. After saying goodbye to dustcloud, Smudgepaw padded up to the she-cats. “Hello ladies, did you miss me?” The Tom asked. The used to be shy Tom got so used to his friends that now he was only shy around others.

Icepaw yawned and looked at them. She looked exhausted, and not her normal self. “Hey guys.” She said duly. She couldn’t help but think how her two best friends were going to be mates one day, she could just tell by the way smudge came over as soon as he saw cedar. She had to admit, she loved the two of them together, they’re super cute. The sun was overhead so the patch of sun was bigger.

She was excited to be an apprentice and soon would have her first training. Maybe it’d be outside of camp! She was excited to herself in her mind but the way she looked didn’t look like she was excited.
