| "ShadowClan! Gather beneath the Jaggedrock!" Flintshard tapped his paws against the harden stone as he waited for the Clan to gather, annoyed that he had to make yet another ceremony. It wasn't a surprise, persay. There was plenty of ShadowClan kits that were reaching their six moon but there were only so many warriors... | Firekit padded out of the nursery with a smirk, it was time for his ceremony and also time to prove just how strong her was to others. | As the cats gathered, Flintshard spared a glance down at the to-be-apprentice and his mother, dipping his head in acknowledgement of the older she-cat before he spoke up to get the ceremony started. "I've gathered you all here to witness the naming of a new apprentice...Firekit, please step forward," he said, pausing to give the young tom some time to escape from his mother's care. "Firekit, you have reached the age of six moons, and its time for you to become an apprentice. From this day forward, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Firepaw. I will be your mentor."
Flintshard was finding himself with a rather numerous amount of apprentices, but he was the one who kept giving them to himself. Many of the warriors of ShadowClan were busy with their own lives and patrols, while he had been working out how to balance his deputy work along with his normal duties.
