Hunting, hunted (predator encounter patrol)

Olivepaw scampered put of camp, excited and tail high. Once she reached the ridge that looked over the camp, she stopped and waited for her mentor and Clovertwist to catch up to her. A cold wind blew, fluffing up Olivepaw's fur the wrong way. She let out a shiver, kneading the ground to keep herself moving, and to help ward off the chill. The chill couldn't dampen her spirits, however.

Clovertwist cast one quick cheerful smile to his elder half-brother Briarthorn as the pair of toms followed Olivepaw out of camp onto the moor. Clovertwist watched the apprentice race ahead with amusement, letting the scents of the moor wash over him and orient him to some details of the moor he might not detect in camp. He watched the apprentice shiver a bit and chuckled, offering helpfully, "If you keep your face to the wind your pelt won't get all ruffled!"
