The Mighty Hunters [Closed]

There was almost a sigh of relief from him at the faint sound of Leaftwirl's voice, having not really been feeling his suggestion to play - it had simply been an attempt to change the subject of his own thoughts. He watched Basilkit head toward the nursery...Then come rushing back to give him a goodbye nuzzle. "Of course, Bug," he responded with a  gentle purr...And then she was gone. He watched her tail-tip disappear into the nursery entrance, and he felt his smile fade a little. It was one thing for his fear of heights to effect him but...Why did he have to now be terrified of the idea of the others climbing into trees? Or at least...Why did he have to be terrified of her climbing into trees.

She was so eager to go hunting with him once she became an apprentice but he wasn't just terrified that she would find out about his fear of heights, but that he would have to watch her climb up there. He knew how unlikely it was going to be that she would fall but...Already, he felt cold terror cling to his heart. He shook his head, pushing himself to his paws. That...That wouldn't be for a while. She was a brave it, she was a true SkyClan cat...She...She would be fine once she became an apprentice. With a soft sigh, he headed toward the entrance of the camp - he need some time to himself....
