Training for Beanpaw (closed)

Entering the apprentice den, the tiny legged leader looked around until he spotted his new apprentice's pelt, in which he carefully made his way over to the young tom. Prodding Beanpaw's side with his little faded grey paw, Tinystar let out a soft mew. "Beanpaw, get up." With that, he made his way out of the den and into the warm, Greenleaf air. Today, he'd take the apprentice on what was most likely his first hunting patrol.

Sleep had come easy ever since Beanpaw had spent his first night in the apprentice’s den, and for that her was thankful. Today, Tinystar had promised him that he would be taking him our for a hunting patrol, where he could perhaps learn to hunt for rabbits, or perhaps fish, if that was something SkyClan bothered to do. He hadn’t heard any of the other apprentice’s speak of it, but who knew? After quickly grooming his long, fluffy fur, Beanpaw set out behind his mentor, following him as they padded into the territory together. ”So, little-legs, are we gonna be hunting just birds today? Or shall I try something more challenging?” The young apprentice mewed, gazing up at the canopy of trees above him.

"You can hunt more than just birds of course," Tinystar began through clenched teeth, trying his best to not growl. If this apprentice called him something other than his real name one more time, he'd have more things to worry about than how well groomed his fur was.

Padding alongside the younger tom for what felt like ages, the two made it to what the little legged leader assumed was the middle of the territory, or at least near it.

"So, what do you know about hunting?" he asked, wondering if Beanpaw had any prior knowledge that he wouldn't need to go over again.
