We're working on a few different projects and we have just finished one up:
the Hunting System update!
We've only made a few changes, but one of them was a user suggestion (
which you can check out here) and another is utilizing mechanics already suggested. As with our previous update, please look over the changes and let us know if anything sticks out to you!
- Each piece of prey now has seasonal availability; in other words, numbers for prey are lower in Leaf-bare than in Greenleaf. For example, see birds below. Technically staff has always had this ability but it has been rarely utilized, and now it will be an easy constant reference!

- Rolling the Dice Costs SP! This comes from the suggestion linked above which received enthusiastic support. All hunting rolls cost 3 SP whether they succeed or fail, and in leaf-bare it costs 5 SP.
- Disabled cat hunting limits are clarified; something that had only a 1 or 1-2 chance of being caught was uncatchable by disabled cats, but now they may catch things with a 1 so long as they are not labeled with a 0 (e.g. Fish still cannot be caught by disabled cats in SC/WC)
