Hello everyone! Recently we have been kicking around the idea of altering when we post Gatherings and Medicine Cat meetings. Currently, we are set up to post Gatherings on the full moon of each month and Medicine Cat Meetings (half-moon meetings) on the half moon. The new proposition is that we post Gatherings on the 1st of each month and half-moon meetings on the 15th of each month.
In addition,
we will be adding a time limit to when medicine cats may receive revelations during half-moon meetings regardless of which poll option wins. We plan to do this to minimize paradoxes in Gatherings caused by delayed revelations from roleplayers who don't roll in a timely fashion. We understand that life happens, but we need to keep things moving while avoiding paradoxes.
Support for Moon Phases:
- Warriors canon goes by moon phases, making it accurate
- WCC has always gone by the moon phases
- The medicine cat meetings couldn't be called the half-moon meetings if they didn't occur at the half moon
- Medicine Meeting Time Limit: Quarter Moon following the half-moon's post date
Support for Set Dates:
- The Moon Phase widget on the Portal doesn't always work, so it can be difficult to keep track of when important dates are approaching
- Set time of the month may be easier for staff and members to keep track of and post in
- Medicine Meeting Time Limit: Two weeks following medicine meeting's posted date

This poll will last for two weeks and be the ultimate decider of whether we keep going by moon dates or change it to set dates.
