Skipped Generations (OPEN / Clan Meeting-ish?)

Scorchstar pushed his way through the bramble barrier that protected the entrance of ShadowClan's camp, pushing them aside with his large tail to let Lengxue through. Just a few moments earlier, he had been given this kit from Jaystar at Fourtrees. According to the RiverClan leader, this kit was his kin -- the granddaughter of Shade, and thus making her his great-granddaughter. He was overjoyed to be welcoming her to ShadowClan, especially after Jaystar told him he just couldn't accept her into RiverClan after all her grandfather had done to his Clan. Of course, he understood just where his ally was coming from, and he wasn't just about to neglect a kit in need. The warrior code demanded cats to protect kits regardless of where they came from, but other than that, he had such a soft spot for kits anyway, and she was his kin after all.

"Come with me to the Jaggedrock, Lengxue," Scorchstar murmured gently, nuzzling her fondly, before leading her to the tall rock where he made all of his important announcements to the Clan. Once at the base, he gently picked her up by the scruff and bounded up the Jaggedrock with one pounce, honed with moons of practice. Placing her down next to him and wrapping his tail around her to make sure she wouldn't accidentally lose balance, he called out, "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey join beneath Jaggedrock for a Clan meeting!"

The trek was a bit trying for the young she kit but once they were at Shadow clan camp it made up for it her harden paw pads felt weird to the new ground but she liked it welcomed it and was happy to start a new life in Shadow clan.  Tail flicking excitedly she looked around for a moment before she nodded following her great grandfather to the big rock and letting him pick her up.  Once she was set down she crouch just slightly her curly fur fluffing out just slightly"so what happens now? "She asked quietly but fell silent when he called for a meeting.  Her tail curled around her tightly for a moment before she tried to sit up a bit taller pushing her nervousness down.

Ravenpaw padded towards her father, the scent of a new cat tickling her nose. Huffing, she sat neatly at the base of the Jaggedrock, a puzzled expression on her face. Her sensitive ears pricked when a young, unfamiliar voice asked a question, from the direction of the new scent. Lengxue? Who could this possibly be? Her ears and nose remained strained for any new information. From what she could tell, the new arrival was young, and smelled of RiverClan, with a hint of unfamiliar scent behind it.

Mapleshine walked forwards to the Jaggedrock and noticed the small kit siting besides Scorchstar who is that?. Now curious she sat down extra close to the rock, which was unusual for her and sat down fixed on hearing everything the leader had to say. After all this kit was more then strange, she carried some faint Shadowclan smell but Riverclan was on it to yet Mapleshine did not think she was a clan cat to begin with. Wondering who the newcomer was she looked up to the leader curiosity in her eyes.

Morningpaw hurried out of the medicine cat den and sat right out front. Her blue-green gaze held worry when she heard the leader call out a clan meeting. Lately, these haven't been so good. She gazed up at where Scorchstar stood and attempted to scan his face to see if the news was good or bad.

Lengxue watched quietly and yet nervously as cats started to gather.  Her ears lowered ever so slightly as she watched.

"Cats of ShadowClan," Scorchstar meowed, gesturing to the kit beside him, "earlier, Jaystar has given me Lengxue here, who had wandered into his RiverClan looking for a home. He was unfortunately unable to provide one for her, so ShadowClan will instead. I want you all to make her feel welcome and right at home." He lowered his head to nuzzle Lengxue's cheek with his large, broad muzzle. Then, he looked up to the apprentices who were gathered nearer to the apprentices' den. "As Lengxue is at least six moons old, she will begin her training tomorrow once she has been given her apprentice ceremony. Apprentices, would you be so kind as to make room for her to sleep in the apprentices' den?"

"Welcome to Shadowclan!" An elderly tom with a graying muzzle limped out of the Elder's den, purring in a friendly manner. Rouge or no, the old tom was always tickled to see new faces around camp. He loved regaling them with stories from his time as a warrior, and the more apprentices to badger, the better.
