Tiny Sparrows (closed)

The insult should have gone right past her ears. The sound of Tinystar's voice behind her should have been enough to quell the anger that coursed through her body at the insult. The miserable idea that she would be an apprentice forever was too ingrained in her mind now as she yowled wordlessly at the cat beneath her. Claws unsheathing as she raked a deep gash with her hind claws that ran down from his chest and stomach. The fur flying off as she slashed at his face in pure unadulterated anger.

Then she did look at Tinystar. A look so full of hatred that for a brief moment, it was almost as if she had become her father. The scars on her face did nothing to hamper the image as she sneered down at the cat beneath her. Claws digging harder into his shoulder as her mind recovered from the fires of her fury.
"It's alright Tinystar. I've needed a new lining for my nest. His arrogant pelt will do nicely." She snarled, "But then again I don't want my nest to reek of pathetic ShadowClan dung stench."


Sparrowpaw is still pinning Asterspark with Leap and Hold. Asterspark is no longer stunned.

Asterspark snarled as he struggled to regain control of the situation, trying to summon the strength to shove Sparrowpaw off. He had seen another cat approach through the tussling, this small cat looking awfully angry at him, but he didn't have time for idle chitchat right in the middle of battle. "Yeah, gimme a sec, will ya, kit? I'm tryin' t' win a battle here!"

Finally, he was able to shove Sparrowpaw off, and he rolled back onto his four paws before leaping behind the young apprentice to grip her tail tightly between his teeth. With a hard yank, he was able to knock her over onto her side.

Asterspark used Tail Yank on Sparrowpaw, dealing 5 damage and costing 10 stamina.

Sparrowpaw is Stunned for one turn.

With their continuation of the fight fueling his anger even more, Tinystar's claws might as well have gone straight through solid rock. Sparrowpaw's words flowed through his veins and while how she'd said what she'd said worried him, he had to deal with the intruder above all else.

Ears flat and fur bristling, the tiny tom leaped forward and grabbed hold of the ShadowClan warrior's tail. Clamping his small jaws down onto the cat's tail he pulled back; hard. While he may have been small and not very intimidating, he could still bite with his small, razor sharp teeth, which was an advantage he had. "Stop, this instant!" he yowled somewhat muffled through barred teeth as warm blood oozed into his jaws. He didn't plan to let go till the cat stopped and prayed to StarClan that time would be soon.

The sudden excruciating pain in his tail caused Asterspark to howl in pain, and he twisted around to try and swipe at Tinystar, but he flopped over before he could land a hit at the SkyClan leader's face. Panting heavily from pain and the exhilaration of battle, he glared angrily at the smaller cat, trying to lash his tail out of his mouth. Whipping his head around to look at Sparrowpaw again, he spat, ”You better watch your mouth, you little brat, or else I’ll bring you back home to feed to the rats of Carrionplace, and no one will miss you, either!”

A brief yowl and opened claws shredded at the pelt beneath her as Asterspark pulled free of her pin and managed to snag hold of her tail. Her limbs froze in pain and shock for a moment. Long enough that Tinystar took matters into his own paws to dislodge the tom.

The words Asterspark hissed were not missed any she levelled a piercing glare at him.
"You think you'll be missed?" she hissed in response. Ignoring the tight feeling in her chest from the words. Her eyes stung with tears that she held back through sheer will. Anger forefront in her mind as she slashed brutally at the tom's chest once more while he was still trying to free himself. She thrust her face directly in front of him with a snarl. "A pathetic kittypet like you who doesn't even understand borders? Go back to your wretched carrionplace and hunt some of your filthy rat kin.".

She turned back to Tinystar. Her green gaze still hard and intense as her lips lifted in a snarl.
"Don't interfere in my fights Tinystar." She hissed towards the small white leader. Her chest ached with concern for a moment. Tinystar could have gotten hurt... Even if the clan hated her... Even if Tinystar did, the clan needed him. Too much to promote him trying to become crowfood by interfering.

Still having the intruder's tail between his teeth, Tinystar could only watch as the cats continued to fight. the ShadowClanner's and Sparrowpaw's harsh remarks made him wince, though only fueled his anger even more, although the she-cat's snap towards him did kindle deep within him for a few moments. Her fight? For StarClan's sake, this should've have even been a fight! If this mousebrain ShadowClanner had simply stayed on his side of the border...

With his mind whirling with thoughts and emotions, Tinystar did the only thing he could possibly think of. Letting go of the tom's tail, the tiny leader jumped between the two and grabbed hold of the warrior's ear, which was luckily low enough from him to latch onto. While it may have seemed a bit odd, the last thing he needed to have was this crazed tom jumped for Sparrowpaw again, and this was the only way to stop him; or at least the only way he'd been able to think of in such a short amount of time. "Enough!" he yowled as loud as possible, to stop their squabbling; the cat's ear in his jaws. Great Silverpelt, since when had he ever been able to speak so loudly?

Shooting each cat a glance that could melt ice, he first looked to Sparrowpaw. "You, young lady, did not pass your assessment. I thought that I could have some hope that maybe you'd change your stubborn ways, but after this... this... showcase of where your priorities lie, that clearly won't be the case," he growled, not really caring how harsh he was being at the moment. "And you!" he snapped, turning to look down at the warrior who was laying on the ground. "You're just as big of a mousebrain! If hadn't known better, I would've thought you really were some senseless kittypet!" he exclaimed, his tone exasperated as he huffed and puffed from being so worked up. "You are both going to come with me to ShadowClan's camp and we are going to tell Scorchstar what fools you both are and hopefully he'll spare you more mercy than I wish to right now," the small leader hissed, his ears flat and tail bushy. "Sparrowpaw, if you even dare to not follow me, I won't hesitate to exile you, right here and now," he added softer, not turning to look back at the apprentice. Not letting go of Asterspark's ear, he began walking, knowing that the warrior would quickly stand up and follow, unless he wanted his ear ripped off.

Anger boiling through his veins at the idiocy in which he'd just encountered, a slight sense of fear poked at his pelt as well. The way Sparrowpaw had acted, not wanting to stop fighting, it was certainly something he'd been worried about and would need to keep an eye on, but for now, he had other matters to attend to.

Asterspark's bubble of anger quickly popped when he felt sharp teeth bite down hard on his ear. He yelped and tried to tug away, only to be met with terrible pain. Having no other choice but to sit as still as he could, wincing as Tinystar talked around his ear and pierced his fangs deeper into the soft cartilage, the ShadowClanner couldn't help but think of just how disappointed his father would be in him. Stars, what was he thinking? This was an absolutely horrible way for him to vent and deal with all his problems and losses! He didn't even pull away when Tinystar began leading him towards ShadowClan camp, but still stumbled as he struggled to keep up with his consistent tugging, being forced to practically stalk to stay on his level. Ohh, my father's going to kill me...
