Nightkit is bored [OPEN]

Nightkit whined as his mother nudged him out of the nursery. "Go on" she mewed gently, "go find something to do, you're getting too big for the nursery." While her voice was fond, Nightkit still huffed grumpily as he tumbled out into the camp. Fine! He could find his own fun in camp!
Nightkit looked around, catching sight of a butterfly and dropping into his imitation of a hunter's crouch. He leapt, grasping it with his paws. "Yes!" He mewed excitedly, before letting go of the butterfly. He watched it flutter off, before bouncing for it again, missing this time and tumbling over, rolling and landing face forward. "Oof'

Fennelpaw casually groomed a spiky section of fur as she examined the kit playing with the colourful insect. Ah, the innocence of a kit; not that she was very old yet, but who cared? As her eyes drifted away, a thump made her jolt; whipping her head back to the little black furball, she saw that he had fallen, head pressed into the ground. Suppressing a grin, she padded over, nudging him with a white paw. "Oi, you okay?"

Sparkpaw's throat grumbled with laughter. "Believe me, it doesn't get any better. On my assessment, the first frog I caught, I fell on!" She exclaimed as she walked closer to the two cats.

Morningpaw had been watching the scene unfold. She remembered her time as a kit. She loved playing near the center of the camp. She had often chased after bugs and foliage that flew past her in a breeze. Her father, mother, and siblings were all that were important to her. Now, that she was the Medicine cat, her love had expanded quite a bit. Her whole clan was her being and soul. She would never lose sight of what was important. Life did manage to spoil her "perfect" world. Not too long ago Wolfheart, her father, passed away from something unknown and the she-cat couldn't save him. His death created an empty, black whole that may never be filled. She missed him too much and blamed herself for his passing despite it being a mystery. She did manage to spring back on her paws, knowing that she had to keep living for her mother and clan!

The tortie cat shook herself from her swirling thoughts and walked over to the trio. She wanted to hang out. "Hey there you three! What's going on?" Morningpaw wanted it to seem that she hadn't witnessed what had gone on a few moments ago.
