WCC Therapy (For cats)

I was thinking to myself one day about how Curlyfeather would make a horrible therapist. While thinking about that, I realized that Nectarleap would be the opposite kind of therapist, but still not be that good. But who would be worse? So I decided to have them get into a therapist battle. You can have your own cats go into therapy, describe their situation, and Curlyfeather and Nectarleap will both try to help them out, and most likely fail. They won't be talking to each other or aware they are in a competition, so they'll just be talking directly to their client. This is not canon, so this doesn't affect role-playing at all. How does your character get therapy? You simply sign up using the code below.

As I stated, this will be a competition. After I post with the responses from both of the cats, you can comment to say which one you think is worse. By worse, I mean which would be least helpful to the client's situation.

Problem (in character explanation of why they need therapy): I'm the reason why the sun and moon are blocking each other and the sky is red. Did I mention I'm also the reason why we'll be going to war? Yeah that too. How do I correct my wrongs?

Problem (in character explanation of why they need therapy): ”Well, I’ve been living with a lot of guilt, and it involves my son Shade. I really wish I had never had such a murderous monster of a son threatening the Clans... but at the same time if I hadn’t met Sweet all those moons ago I’d still be a rude and arrogant and misbehaving tom, and I wouldn’t be where I am now. I just... don’t know what to think anymore.”

Problem (in character explanation of why they need therapy): "Well... I think I have father issues. My dad- Shade, he's a horrible monster. My mother though- I love her... but I can't see why she'd choose him? Also when I finally run to the clans, will my father follow me? Or will he leave me be and let me live my life. How do I move on knowing my father is a murderer?"

just casually advertising, if anyone needs real canon therapy, Spotfur's your man. he takes walks uptown a lot so he can talk to literally anyone and will help you.

(Laughs) "You call that a problem? I mean, it is stupid and not good, but the sun and moon are bleeding out in the sky and the clans are on the brink of destruction and you are worried about having too much to be excited about? Wow, you are either blissfully ignorant or basically drowning in privilege. What are kits like you going to be crying about next, having a mother that loves you too much? You take everything so seriously that it is hard to take you seriously. But alright, fine, I'll help you with this 'problem' of yours. First of all, Beepaw is not interesting or important enough to be worth stalking. The only reason you should ever be stalking Beepaw is if he is gotten to annoying and you are stalking him for the purpose of finishing him once and for all. And I'm sorry, but I'm confused. If training with your mentor is what distracts you from sitting still and paying attention, then what the heck are you trying to pay attention to? I cannot think of anything an apprentice your age would be wanting to listen to less. Maybe elder stories, but you can just run away from those and they wouldn't notice. Training should be what you are focusing on, not the distraction. No, that plant is not catmint, nor is it a plant for what it's worth to you. oh yeah, I'm supposed to be helping you or something like that. Here's a tip that could possibly help you out: Differentiate what is important to you and the stuff that you don't give a piece of fox-dung about. That should help you to have less stuff that you need to sit still and pay attention to. and less stuff to distract you. Overall it might help you. Or it might not. I don't know, I've never had that stupid of a problem. However, I think the real problem with you is not this whole distraction thing. You just take this little problem and stress yourself crazy about it. Lighten up, kit. Find something worthwhile to worry about. And next time you are about to freak out over something as trivial as this, just think about me. My whole life has been a trip through the Dark Forest and back, but you don't see me getting all worried about all of my little problems. So just stop worrying. I've never done this therapy thing before so it probably won't help, but I'm not apologizing for anything that might go wrong with you because of this."

(Wistful) "When I was your age, I was like that as well. Always running around, so curious that I could hardly listen to one thing at a time. Those were the happiest days of my life. Always running off with Stoneheart, Stonepaw at the time. Oh StarClan, I miss him so much. I miss all of those days. They say death changes cats, and they're right. I'd do anything to go back to being like that, a care-free and curious apprentice who found everything to be exciting. Of course, back then I worried about it too, much like you do. Now I wish I cherished it more, spent more of my time with Stonheart and Heathershade happy. Life was short for those that I loved, but my life has stretched so long that I can barely remember when I was happy. So stop thinking that this is something wrong with you! Seeing you like that makes me long for my old self, wanting to reach out and grab the old Stonepaw and Laurelpaw, and everything else I took for granted back then. The adventures I went on were paradise, and I shouldn't have worried about what I was missing. If only life wasn't so cruel and let me go back to those days, let me be happy again without the worry that I couldn't pay attention." (Pauses) "I've gone on about myself again, haven't I? I do that far too much, I think there is something wrong with me. I keep telling myself that it isn't narcissism if it is reasons that I hate myself, but now I'm not to sure. Your Beepaw and mentor remind me so much of Laurelpaw and Silentstrike, your catmint making me think of all the celebrations I had with Stormcloud. Don't you ever change, Falconpaw, or believe me, you'll regret it. You'll become a sad old man like me someday, I promise you! So please, for my sake at least, continue your energetic days. Go off with Sweetpaw and Shadefall, or whoever the cats you love are. Because at least you will, even if I never see my loved ones again. It is a curse that I will never forget those days. I'd have to go with Curly on this one XD He spent more time complaining about "kits these days" than giving advice and the advice he gave was contradictory. He gave me a good laugh!

Problem (in character explanation of why they need therapy): "Ever since the battle for Sunningrocks, I live in constant fear that one of my family members will be killed one day and I'll be unable to save them. Every time I close my eyes, I can hear the sound of battle- I feel my heart begin to race, and I feel the blood of countless cats on my fur, and I see... him. Otterleap, the tom who murdered my daughter and tore off my tail as a constant reminder of that Starclan-foresaken day. Every time I try to get close to another cat, I find that I'm unable or unwilling to. All the cats I've ever loved have died, anyway. What's the use of trying again if Starclan will rip them away from me?"

Problem (in character explanation of why they need therapy): "I just...I feel terrible all the time. Like my brain is in a dark fog. I hate myself. I hate my stump. I wish I was born right. I'm so tired of the stares that young cats give me when they see me for the first time, and the looks older warriors give me when I struggle to bring food back to the fresh-kill pile. I'm a waste of space, a burden to my Clan. I try so hard to do what I can to do my part but it doesn't ever feel like enough. Please help me. I want to know how to love myself. I want to know if I'm worth it. StarClan won't give me any answers."

(Mock Astonishment) "Wait, did I hear you right? You know, I've always had a bit of trouble hearing, so I just want to make sure. You are Lichenmask? Wow, I should probably run away from you then. Because I'm pretty sure Lichenmask is the reason the sun and moon and blocked and bleeding and also the reason RiverClan and WindClan are going to war. But I don't know, I may be wrong. Maybe you are Lichenmask, or maybe he just pretended to do those things while you were the real culprit. But I doubt that. I really think that you are just one of those idiotic mousbrains who blames themself for everything out of their control. How much more over-dramatic can you get? 'Oh, I one time talked to this cat who turned evil, it must be my fault they're evil.' No! I get it may be a little more than that, but unless you purposefully forced him to do those things, then you are not at fault. So really, I don't think you have any wrongs to correct. If you really had enough influence to hide the sun and moon, then you should have enough to get them back. With the war thing, there probably is no way to correct that. Once Brindlestar gets mad, there's no way of stopping her. Sorry, just deal with it. You're the medicine cat, not me, so I suggest you find a specific way to do everything because I don't know a thing about any of this. I'm just supposed to be giving you therapy. I say just get your act together and realize that you aren't Lichenmask. You don't really have any wrongs to correct. Sure, those are problems you need to solve, but you didn't cause them. Cut yourself some slack there. Not everything in the entire world is about you. I'm so sorry tell you this, but you gotta hear hear it. OTHER CATS CREATE PROBLEMS TOO! So stop think your responsible for everything out of your control. Stop thinking you caused a bunch of problems and start working on ways to solve them. (Brief anger) "You did what? You're saying that you are the reason the clans are in a confused and tense environment all the time, and that you are the RiverClanner that angered my clan to this point? If that's true, then you deserve to die. But it isn't. Everyone knows that Lichenmask is the reason the sky is red, and every WindCLanner knows the reason the clans are on the brink of war is because of Shade and Lichenmask. Goldeneye, I am disappointed in you for your inability to stop those two earlier. But that is no reason to continue blaming yourself for it. You can correct your wrongs by simply doing you best to put an end to Lichenmask and his followers. Do your best to notice any other potentially evil cats within the ranks of RiverClan. Because right now, you are failing to do so horribly, and it is part of your job as medicine cat. However, you are not as much at fault as Jaystar is, and not nearly as much as Shade or Lichenmask. Remember you aren't the only one who caused these things to happen. It was a clan-wide effort to ruin things, so you have to have all of RiverClan's help to fix things. As a WindClanner, I can tell you that all the reason we have to hate your clan is reasonable, so you have to make there be an equally reasonable reason to like your clan. But knowing both clans, that does not seem possible. In fact, your job seems just short of impossible. I don't mean to be a downer, but if I can't over failing to protect my apprentice, than I'm not sure how you will be able to get over failing to protect your clan. The job you have been given is one that I think no cat can accomplish, and it is more than you deserve for the little wrongs you have committed. All I can offer you is good luck."
