The Sweet-Scorch-Shade Q&A

The concept borrowed from the brilliant Squirrelnose, I've chosen the former RiverClan queen, ShadowClan deputy, and half-Clan outlaw to answer every and any question you may have. Just make sure the questions are those that any Clan cat have knowledge of (ex. no questions like, "do you prefer hamburgers or hotdogs" or anything like that). These three have very different outlooks on life, so things may get pretty interesting.

"Hello. I am Sweet, but you may call me Sweetheart if you wish."

"You two never should have conceived me anyway! I'm just making sure you both pay the price for breaking the warrior code! All the Clans are guilty of breaking the warrior code one way or another! The Clans are corrupt! That's why I attack cats from each Clan, to teach them the hard way what happens when you break the code! It seems no one will learn a lesson... Perhaps killing the daughter of the WindClan deputy will encourage them to attack RiverClan. One Clan will lose, and I hope it's RiverClan."

"Just... Just answer the question, Shade..."

"I was getting to that! My thoughts on Silverfang... Well, you had trained me. You became the mother I should've had. And you helped me take out the crow-food before my exile. I value your training of me, but aside from that, I feel nothing for you. Now you are nothing more than my enemy and an obstacle for getting to Jaystar. In the end, I will become leader of RiverClan, and you had better believe that you and any other cat who opposes me will be eliminated!"

"That is the kind of ambition that will destroy you in the end. No Clan will allow you to have more power than what you do with those rogues. The Clans will all make sure of it."

"I would love to see you try, you overly-privileged badger! Now go away, the both of you!"

"...Is everyone gone? ...... No one will hear what I'm about to say? ...... *sigh* Silverfang... Sometimes... I wish things were different. I love the feeling of being greater and more powerful than a group of cats, don't get me wrong, I would never change that! I'm a monster now. A beast with no moral or empathy or felinity (humanity in cat form). ...That's not completely true. I force myself not to feel. Compassion is weakness. Love is vulnerability. But... no matter how hard I try... I can never shake the true sorrow I hold deep in my heart for how badly I've messed up as your apprentice. I miss you. But I know things can never be the same again. And that is why I have to feel nothing for you. If I do, I will be completely lost. This ambition is all I have left. I will not lose it, even if it means leaving you and our memories behind."

"The Clans also offer more protection than if you were to live your life outside of it -- unless you were to live your life as a kittypet being protected by Twolegs, but really, if you're a kittypet you're merely just existing rather than living. You can make many lifelong friends, find a mate, and have kits, and you can always know that your kits will be the ones your Clan will protect first and foremost besides elders. And when you do become an elder, you will be remembered and respected, and younger cats will tend to you and care for you, just as you have risk your lives protecting them during your time."

"Hey! Stop filling my kit's mind with all those lies! Don't listen to them, Canren, they both lie! I will not have my kit become some weak little Clan cat! That being said, I suggest you stop thinking about them and just focus on making yourself stronger."

Gingerstripe: "How do you think I can be accepted into RiverClan? Do you have any advice?"

Rowantalon: "In my opinion, a cat's relationship with their family is the most important thing to protect and cultivate. Do you agree?"
