Maplepaw's Warrior Ceremony

Littlebrook leaped up onto Jaggedrock. "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather beneath Jaggedrock for a clan meeting!" She yowled.

Maplepaw stood up from the spot where she had been enjoying some fresh-kill and walked towards the jagged rock wondering where this could be al about.

"Today we gather to give an apprentice her warrior name." She meowed, pausing for effect. "Maplepaw, please step forward." She called out, her gaze locked onto the she-cat. Once she had taken a step forward, she continued. "I, Littlestar, leader of ShadowClan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. She has trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend her to you as a warrior in her turn. Maplepaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code, and to protect and defend your Clan, even at the cost of your life?" She asked her with a serious gaze.

Maplepaw smiled with pride, she was becoming a warrior! Oh how she longed for this since the beginning of her life! She proudly walked forward " Yes I promise!" the truth in her words were undoubtable as she smiled and looked up at the leader.

Littlestar nodded approvingly at Maplepaw's eager response, “Then by the powers of StarClan, I give you your warrior name. Maplepaw, from this moment on you shall be known as, Mapleshine. StarClan honors your passion and loyalty, and welcome you as a full warrior of ShadowClan." She finished with a warm purr before leaping down to congratulate the newly-named Warrior.
