A Homecoming Hunt (Closed)

Though she saw the eagle begin to dive towards her, Finchstream could not summon the energy to dodge its assault and let out a furious screech of pain as she felt sharp talons dig into her back, piercing through her skin to draw the blood that lay underneath.  The fearful she-cat shivered at the haunting feeling of the warm liquid dripping through her fur, but it was then that she began to realize that, for once in her life, she wasn't scared of it.  She feared for her less-experienced companion, and for the unborn kits growing in her belly...and somehow, that made the sticky crimson liquid that had held so much control over her life feel almost...inconsequential.  There was something more important at the moment to fret over.

Recovering quickly from the bird's attack, she watched in a determined crouch as Littlepaw sprung to land on the eagle's sinewy back, her claws tearing at feathers as she dragged the creature down to earth.  With a triumphant hiss, the petite warrior took the chance to slide underneath the large animal and rake her claws across its tender belly, leaving long marks that trickled with blood.  A few droplets fell on her face as she retreated, but she quickly wiped them away with a forepaw.  "Hold onto it Littlepaw!  It's getting weaker!"

Littlepaw listened hearing her mentors words as she held onto the eagle still ripping into its feathered back. She felt it lower again as her mentor attacked it the bird screeching in pain. She held fast though her weight just barely keeping it from going anywhere. That was until it tried to shake her off and she held on quietly before having no choice but to leap off.

Littlepaw used leap and hold(in effect for 0 more turns) using 10 so and dealing 6 damage(I assume this is how it works)
