Little steps [OPEN]

It was early morning when Blackkit woke, small paws stretching out in front of him and a large yawn escaping his jaws. He liked the mornings, when it was quiet and the rays of sunlight were only just beginning to peak through the opening of the den. The young tom rolled over, pondering whether he should sleep a while longer or not - there were cats awake already, but he wasn't the most social of creatures. Perhaps... perhaps a friend or two might be nice, though. He often saw kits or apprentices playing with each other, and it certainly looked like they were having fun.

With a soft sigh falling from his lips, the kit pushed himself up and trudged out of the nursery, peering around.
