Crowpaw had managed to slip away from her patrol. She leaped up to the fence, gazing over rogue territory- and kittypet territory too. A tom appeared. "Well hello there." She said.

The orange-and-white tom in question leapt up to perch himself on the wooden fence when the apprentice appeared, giving her a once-over with curious blue eyes. The tip of his tail flicked mischeviously and he got to his paws, walking carefully along the top of the fence towards her. "Hey there," he mewed, inching closer to catch her scent in his nose. A Clan cat, as he suspected. She smelled like trees, she definitely came from that silly bunch in the woods. A purr of amusement bubbled up in his throat as he sat down beside her. "So, sweetcheeks, what brings you to my domain? Get fed up with running around the forest like a kitten yet?"

Crowpaw ran her tail down his back. Two could play at that game. "The fence is the border, but I'm sure you know that, darling." She willed her voice to be the same as when she used it on Lionpaw- sweet like honey. "The forest is my domain, I'd like to remind you. But what brings you so close to cats like me?"

The tom instinctively stiffened at her touch, nudging her tail away with his own. No touching unless he said so. As much as he hated to admit it, her flirting harder than he was was a little unsettling. That was supposed to be his job. "What brings me so close to cats like you?" he echoed, smirking. "If I remember correctly, kid, you were the one that walked over here. I was already here. What, were you on patrol or something?" He said the word "patrol" with a sneer, finding it amusing how obsessed the forest cats were with doing that.

Crowpaw didn't admit that he was actually kind of right. "Surely you were somewhere else before you came close to the forest. You had to be. Unless you live in this twoleg den, and you're a filthy kittypet?" She spat the word kittypet like it was poison. "If that's the case, I'm sure Thunderclan would love you." Sarcasm was fun.
