Announcing the Unannounced {Open-Clan Meeting}

The tiny, grey and white she-cat had no words for what was happening right now. There was a terrified, absolutely horriefied look on her face. She'd never meant for anything like this to happen. She'd seen so many events similar to the current happening, but never did she think that she might be on the receiving end of it. She wanted to flee back into the den where she and her kits had slept the previous night, to sit and be content with them. Her ears pinned back against her head, and she shrunk back as cats came forward, most of them offering her words of disgust and hate. There were few that actually seemed somewhat friendly, and she would have been thankful if she weren't worried they'd attack her within the next minute. She kept edging backward, eventually crouching to the ground.

At that point, she was trembling, and her eyes kept flickering between Honeypaw, Shrikepaw, and several other cats as they argued over her presence, her kits, and Crowstar. She quickly clenched her eyes shut, trying to block out the myriad of voices coming from across the camp. They were like bees swarming around in her brain, seemingly never ceasing. They were talking about her like she wasn't even there, like she was a lifeless form that had no thoughts, no emotions. 'The only good thing that's come of her!' 'She left her home, her family, in Windclan!' 'Windclan mouseheart!' She couldn't take it any longer. "S-St-Stop!" Her head ached, her heart ached, her body ached. She didn't know what to do. She had to start a new life, and if this was the beginning, she could only imagine the The Dark Forest that would be the rest of it.

Mintpaw's whiskers shook with shock. "C-Crowstar's kits?" She muttered to herself, standing up and looking around. She didn't want to believe it, but... "H-how? W-why?" It was a rhetorical question, of course. There would be no answer from the fluffy black tom.
She thin she-cat shook herself, giving her chest a few licks to steady herself. If Rippedstar had welcomed them to Skyclan, she would too. There was no undoing the past, after all. With a final lick, the small she-cat turned and trotted quietly towards the Nursery. She had no idea how long this 'Gustpuddle' would be staying, but it would be best to get to know her before anything else happened.
