The Unknown Death Of The Quiet

Quietkit looked peacefully asleep but what other's didn't notice was that he where dead. Not to many did ever notice him and now they would probably don't care that he had died.

Forestpaw was sitting in the apprentices den, sunning in the Newleaf sun. She was relaxing all morning, and had somehow gotten bored of it. Forestpaw sat up and started to groom herself, when she spotted a small black and white figure across camp. A kit? why was it laying down in the dirt and not in the nursery? Forestpaw smiled remembering kits' odd personality. She got up and padded over to the the kit who she had confirmed Quietkit as she got to see the fur pattern. She prodded Quietkit in the side, trying to wake him up. When nothing happened, Forestpaw was scared. What was wrong? Then She noticed. There wasn't a rise and fall of Quietkit's flank. No. Not another dead cat. She wanted to go call put to Mapleleaf or Rainpaw to help, but she knew that the kit was dead. "How did this happen?" She muttered to herself.

Out of the corner of her eye, Scarletpaw spotted Forestpaw and another small scrap of fur. Not wanting to get too close, but also curious, Scarletpaw silently crept close to Forestpaw. All the saw was a kit laying in the dirt. What is a kit doing here? Why isn't he in the nursery? Scarletpaw quickly recognized Quietkit, but she also noticed something odd. He didn't seem to be sleeping. There was no fall or rise of Quietkit's chest. Was he dead?
