FAMILY BONDING

Spottedpelt yawned and walked out of the nursery. She had another kit but this time crowclaw was the father. She smiled back at flamekit and then sat in the middle of camp. This was her favorite part of the day where everyone comes out and meets the newest clan memeber.

Leafstorm, tired, ragged, ducked out of the Warrior's Den and padded towards his daughter. With a rough-sounding purr, he licked her ears and laid down in a patch of sunlight a short distance away. Despite everything, it was moments like this, with his family in the sunlight, that gave him the strength to keep going.

Flamekit looked around, bright orange eyes drinking in the overwhelming sites around her. She looked back at her mother and gave her grin. "This place is huuuuuge! I need to start now if I wanna explore this place and get to know everybody!" she squeaked. The she-kit then growled cutely and raced to the apprentice's den. Her little legs and stumpy tail shook with anticipation to see inside the den. She imagined many nests for all the apprentices. She really couldn't wait for the time when it's her turn to become an apprentice.

Spottedpelt smiled at her father then watches as flamekit ran off. "be careful flamekit please." she said and followed after her slowly.

Crowclaw slipped out of the warrior den and walked up to his mate and looked at their kit "She's energetic" he giggled and licked Spottedpelts cheek.

Scarletpaw smiled as she saw her mother and sister. "Hi Spottedpelt," she purred as she rubbed her mother with her muzzle. She smiled as she thought about how much Flamekit reminded her of herself.
