Fight on Sight (Closed)

It was just another day in the new normal. More silence, but at least she now had her songful world when she was asleep at night. Patrols with Cedarstorm were those times when Curlyfeather felt like she meant something to someone, as if she really did make a difference to the clan. So right now she wasn't actually to grumpy, almost content. Almost. Her happiness would probably get that high as long as she was still a burden to her clan. As she walked, she tried to imagine the wind rustling the pine trees overhead and the squish of mud underfoot. The sounds were almost real, but still too fabricated to make it sound like it once had. Grumbling under her breath, she continued on their way. The thing about being with her sister is that they didn't need to talk to have a good time with each other. After losing her hearing, that had become doubly true. As they passed the Thunderpath, she didn't even try to no show her blatant disgust. So many horrible things happened here that to try to hide the fact that she hated it would be stupid. But after passing the dreadful, dark forest cursed strip of stone, they reached the Highpine, which marked their border with SkyClan. The border markers never were in the exact same place, but they were always within a tail-length of the tree. Quietly, she marked the border slightly inside the other clan's territory. It sometimes caused skirmishes, but no war would ever be fought over a single pine tree. That was when the scent of a patrol filled her nostrils.
"SkyClan patrol coming," she muttered, trying to keep it short and sweet so she didn't have to not hear herself speak. This was going to be interesting.

The Highpine. She had fought here before and been here thrice. Once to explore into the marsh, a second to fight Minnowpaw, and now as a warrior. She smelled Shadowclan before they arrived. Pantherblaze was with her on this crisp, cold day.

The brown tabby she-cat was happy to spend time with her sister, even though it was thanks to a border patrol. After her kits were turned into apprentices, Cedarstorm returned to her usual warrior duties. She didn't want to be a queen forever. After all, she and Curlyfeather's dream was becoming warriors and she had to live that dream the best she could.

With a smile on her face, she marked the border between Shadowclan and Skyclan until she felt the same scent that her sister announced. With a soft growl, the experienced warrior reached the grey tabby she-cat's side and watched at the other side of the border to see if anyone was willing to trespass to their side of the border.

Pantherblaze sighed annoyed when he felt the scent of Shadowclan when he and Blossomheart were approaching the border. Those frog-eaters were a pain and he hated their smell.

Once he reached the edge of the border, he glanced at the two she-Cats of the blue eyes. One of them lacked ears and looked like a weak mess while the other one stood up proudly. However, there was something similar between the two of them. Probably, they were related. Pantherblaze let out another annoyed hiss as he looked at them. ”I was wondering was what that awful smell but now I see it’s just you. Do you even clean yourself, frog-faces? You smell like fox-dung.” He said mockingly. The young tortie tom hated all the other clans and he didn’t even liked his own. He liked to believe in his own self and nothing else. That’s why he wanted to start a fight. ”And What are you supposed to be? A pathetic excuse of a warrior?” He laughed referring to the gray tabby she-cat.

"What is that repulsive tom saying?" Curlyfeather asked Cedarstorm, having no idea if she was whispering or shouting. His glare was making her feel like she should claw his face off, but she had no idea what he was saying in what tone. The glance at her missing ears made up her mind. He needed to be taken care of, in defense of her and all of ShadowClan's honor. "Who in StarClan's name do you think you are? Shut your mouth and I might consider leaving your tail intact." Her bright blue eyes seemed to crackle with anger as she stared him down, not moving her gaze. If he had the nerve to stay, then he would be taught a lesson.

Blossomheart rolled her eyes. "We're Skyclan cats. Move along, nothing to see here." She turned to Pantherblaze. "Honestly! Are you TRYING to start a fight? I can tell they're more experienced. Let's go already."

The brown tabby she-cat fur raised with anger at every word of that orange and black tom. Unsheathing her claws, she hissed at him. If there was a thing that she wouldn't was to see someone messing up with her family, especially with her sister. Before answering him, she made a few flicks of her tail and paw moves to say that the SkyClanner was being disrespectful and aggressive toward them. "You'll better listen to your clanmate, kit, unless you want me to claw off that filthy mouth of you. And you, why don't you grab that tom and leave this place now? We don't have time to play with a couple of apprentices like you." The warrior knew that they weren't exactly apprentices but they were clearly younger than she and her sister.

The tortie tom unsheathed his claws almost tasting the blood of a good fight on his mouth. When his fellow clanmate spoke, he looked at her with narrowed green eyes. ”I’m only stating the truth and what are you trying to do by telling me that? Are you a coward, Blossomheart? I’m more experienced than you so you better listen to me. Skyclan’s pride won’t be tainted by Shadowclan scum like them.” He hissed those words turning his head toward the two she-cats.

Snarling at the one who called him an apprentice, the tom rushes to her and leapt. But he didn’t land on her. Instead, he placed his body next to Cedarstorm’s side and he bit her tail to push her down fiercesly. He turned his head to Curlyfeather with a satisfied smile. [color:2bbb=666600]”I think it’s you clanmate’s tail which is danger, not mine, frog-face.”

Pantherblaze used Tail Yank dealing 5 damage and costing 10 stamina. Cedarstorm is stunned for one turn.

"You mouse-brained furball! Can't you see how easily we're gonna beat you?" Curlyfeather snapped, more annoyed than angry. Whatever fox-dung came spewing out of his mouth wasn't heard by the deaf warrior, but she could see that a fight was breaking out. She considered going after the tom who had attacked, but knew that Cedarstorm could handle him easily. Knowing that the other she-cat was going to fight eventually anyways, she lunged at the pink SkyClanner. Leaning slightly to the side first, she dove underneath her, scratching unsheathed claws repeatedly across her stomach. These two didn't stand a chance. Who did they think they were?

Curlyfeather used Half-Turn Belly Rake on Blossomheart, dealing 13 damage and costing 20 stamina.

Blossomheart hissed. "I'm not a coward, Pantherblaze, you're just an idiot-" She was interrupted by the attack. Blossomheart sighed and used her best bet- getting on top of the other she-cat. Thank Starclan she got a good hold.

The senior warrior hissed when that brat grabbed her tail. As soon as she fell, the brown tabby she-cat stood up glancing with rage at her young opponent. With her tail up and her fur bristling, she started to prepare for his next attack. "You're going to pay for that, furball." She snapped unsheathing her claws. From the corner of her blue eyes, she noticed that another fight started but Cedarstorm knew that her sister could handle that weak Skyclan she-cat. After all, she was as good as fighting as she.

Curlyfeather let out a surprisingly deep growl, considering her size. This was a trick she was familiar with. Thankfully, she had learned how to deal with it properly. Letting her chest fall to the ground, she twisted violently, before the SkyClanner could react. With a single powerful kick with her back legs, she pushed the other she-cat off her. Thank StarClan she knew how to do that, or else she would still be struggling in vain to buck the other cat off.

Curlyfeather used Duck and Twist on Blossomheart, dealing 5 damage and costing 25 stamina. Leap-and-Hold is canceled out.
