Be Warned 2 (Closed for Ivy/Jay)

It was starting to set to evening by the time Nettlesting made his way to RiverClan after his stop at ThunderClan. He had to keep going. He had to keep stopping the villian walking free around. Putting kits and medicine cats like himself in danger. He had to be excluded and stopped. He had never been to RiverClan camp, but it had been described to him before. He tried to not wander too much. Waste too much time. Finally, he managed to find the clump of reeds. He entered the camp. RiverClan surely wouldn't let a murderer from another clan in? "Ivystar! Jaystream!" he called, wearily.

"Nettlesting?" Ivystar couldn't believe her eyes, had the medicine cat swam through their icy rivers and pools to reach their camp? What on earth would drive a cat to go through all this length to come to RiverClan. Was Magpiestar harmed? Did ThunderClan attack them? "What's going on? Does ShadowClan require aid?"

Nettlesting, finishing licking off those last drops of water, thanking StarClan he made it across the rivers he forgot about in the first post, shook his head to the leader, and shifted to stand in a relaxed posture. He shook his head. "No, ShadowClan does not need any aide right now. However, we have had a recent issue. You see, it has been revealed to me by StarClan that a former warrior of ours, Gingerstripe, murdered Honeydrop many moons ago and have kept it hidden to us all this time. He is a danger to your kits, apprentices, and even your medicine cats because if he can kill his own medicine cat, what would he do to yours?" the tired medicine cats voice was tense, but he realized he was rambling and pulled himself back in. "We ask that you do not give refuge to him, and shun any clan who does. We do not need this..." he paused, digging his claws into the ground and letting out a small hiss. "monster in the forest." Nettlesting nodded. He had more to say if Ivystar asked.

"Of course, we have always been an ally of ShadowClan. What is your enemy is ours. However, I would urge you to try pass on this warning to Blizzardstar too, she has a soft-heart, and if anyone would harbour a murderous beast, it would be her... Thank you for your warning, Nettlesting. You're free to rest up before taking off if you need, we don't have much, but what little we have we can share." She remembered the name and his crime, Gingerstripe of ShadowClan, murderer of Medicine cats. It seemed all the clans were struggling with keeping order amongst their own. Shame. Though she loathed to keep another clan cat in her sanctum for a long while, she kept up the image of hospitality, knowing that one day, her clan might need the kindness of a ShadowClan medicine cat to save it from the brink.

Nettlesting shifted. "Actually, that's one thing I wanted to talk to you about. I arrived at ThunderClan before I came here. When I arrived, Blizzardstar had Gingerstripe in her camp. Degradingly, she wanted me to spar with him to 'get the full story'. I left when, despite telling her the story detail by detail, she criticized my words, mind you on a subject irrelevant to the fact a cold-blooded murderer stood in front of her, and refused to drive him out. She is allowing him to stay in her camp, under her protection. This simply is unacceptable for the safety of the forest." He dipped his head, eyes serious.

"That is... Disturbing to hear. I cannot fathom why Blizzardstar would believe a known murderer over a medicine cat. It seems ThunderClan is more depraved than I thought... Though I disagree with her decision to harbour a criminal, RiverClan is too fragile to risk another battle with ThunderClan. I will defer to Littlebrook on this matter. Should she wish to make demands of ThunderClan to exile Gingerstripe, let her know that RiverClan will stand behind her." Ivystar loathed the idea of being embroiled in another war, but she couldn't ignore the threat of a murderer across Sunningrocks from her either. Too much RiverClan blood had been spilt of late, and there was a niggling fear that perhaps this fool would try harm a RiverClan to prove his loyalty to ThunderClan. A cat that would dare kill a medicine cat had to be either unstable, or possessed by the Dark Forest. "If that is all, I will leave you to rest up. I must ensure patrols to the ThunderClan border are doubled in numbers."
