Swiftstep had taken his eldest daughter out on a mini patrol near the border between Riverclan. He wanted to spend time with her and also make sure no Riverclanner dared to go on their side. He quickly stopped them when he scented Riverclan close by. He cautiously unsheathed his claws and beckoned her to stay close.

Lilytail was walking by herself near the border her clan shared with Windclan. The warrior just wanted to check it out, to make sure none of them were crossing over. The young warrior hissed and unsheathed her claws when she scented them nearby. She must protect her clan!

Poppypaw followed her adoptive father along the RiverClan border. She tensed as he unsheathed his claws, and realized that she could scent RiverClan as well. "Who's there?" she hissed.

ooc; Sorry this took so long, school has been crazy and power and internet have been iffy lately. Do you want Poppy to start the fight?

IC: Swiftstep stood his ground as he waited for whoever was close to show their face. His amber eyes widened when he saw a singular white she-cat step forward with bold expression on her face and a defensive stance.

Lilytail hissed softly as she noticed a large tom and what seemed to be an apprentice. Maybe his? Her sky blue eyes narrowed and she took on a defensive stance. "What are you doing so close to the border rabbit-faces? Why don't you go back to the burrow of where you came from and not bother Riverclan?" Lilytail felt proud of herself for being able to speak as clear as she did then. She was going to protect the border with everything she could muster.

The apprentice glared at the RiverClanner in front of her. "What are you doing at the border, is a better question," she hissed, her tone hostile. As much as the white and ginger she-cat disliked fighting, she knew this was one battle she wouldn't be able to avoid. The white warrior just beyond the border had already taken a defensive stance, so Poppypaw decided to translate this as an invitation to attack. Wordlessly, she dashed at the RiverClan warrior, dropping to the ground for just long enough to rake her claws over her opponent's unprotected underbelly. Quickly regaining her balance, she stepped back towards Swiftstep.


Poppypaw used Belly Rake on Lilytail, dealing 7 damage and costing 10 stamina.

Lilytail squeaked as her belly was raked with needle sharp claws and was shocked when she felt herself tumbling from being kicked by the older warrior. She snarled and leaped onto the apprentice and pinned her down. She dug her claws in to make sure the younger cat couldn't escape so easily.

Poppypaw gasped as she found herself pinned under the RiverClanner's weight. She struggled, but claws dug sharply through her pelt. "Swiftstep! Daddy!" she cried out, panicked. The apprentice took a deep breath, still trying to free herself from her opponent. She did her best to think rationally in the situation, trying to ignore the feeling of helplessness that washed over her.
