Dappledpaw's Moonstone Journey

Birdflight was going to take yet another apprentice on a journey to the sacred Moonstone. Dappledpaw was the lucky apprentice that would get to talk to one of his warrior ancestors. She had just settled down by the camp entrance and it was very early in the day too. A pack of herbs was by her paws. She had just eaten hers. "Dappledpaw! Time to head out!" she called for the tom. Her light green eyes held excitement. She loved to see the apprentices all excited to get going.

Dappledpaw raced out of the apprentice den, trying his very hardest not to stumble over his huge paws. Today was the day! He arrived by Birdflight, dipping his head in greeting while acting like he wasn't too excited, although his mind was screaming. He eyed the herbs curiously. Did he have to eat those?

Birdflight nodded her head at his greeting. She pushed the bundle of herbs towards Dappledpaw. "Here. These are traveling herbs that'll take care of your hunger and they'll give you energy for the journey." she explained to the young tom. She began to wait for him to finish as she sat.
