Set In Stone [For Firestorm}

Birchheart had thought long and hard through the night about how to train her apprentice. She wanted him to live a long life and keep him from being corrupted by whatever had taken form in her mother. Now, she was ready to start, the Warrior Code would be the first thing to teach. It was the most important. His other skills would, of course, come along the way but it would all lead back to that sacred code. Her stumpy tail twitched as she left the now sorted fresh-kill pile and peered into the Apprentice Den. "Stonepaw, let's get going! I've got a lot prepared for us to do." She meowed with a smile. The dawn patrol had come back some time ago, she figured it was late enough for them to start the first day of training.

Stonepaw bounded out of the den "Lets go," he said.

Birchheart dipped her head and lead him out of the territory. She decided that she'd give a tour while she began her first lesson. She led him to Sand Hollow. "Soon, we will start your battle training in this hollow. Do you know why that is important?" The warrior looked down at him.

"No" Stonepaw repiled

Birchheart hummed. "Alright, well... We need to be able to protect loved ones. Unfortunately, it usually comes down to fighting. Just remember to avoid conflict until it is needed. It normally just leads to more conflict." She frowned and gave a distant look before shaking her head and forcing a smile back on her face. "We-well... uh.. Let's go to Stone Hollow." She trotted ahead, leading him to the ominous stone. Standing a very safe distance away, she looked at him. "This is a very dangerous place. Apprentices are never to come here alone. If you do come here, do not come during a storm or during times of snowmelt."
