A Cherry sized Stone

ic: Whiteheart licked the two kits awake, it was time for them to see the camp, and all the cats that called it home. "Wake up my lovelies." Her daughter looked just like the she-cat herself. Though the queen's heart still ached a little at the loss of her son. Whiteheart had enough time with him to give him a name, but he was taken away soon after he was born. The hole in her heart was filled by an orphaned kit, named Stonekit. He would not replace her lost son, but the orange she-cat would treat him like her own. "It's time to introduce ThunderClan to its two newest members."

Cherrykit opened her blue eyes and looked around with a yawn at the feeling of a tounge rasping over her head. Stretching out her tiny body, Cherrykit's ears perked up suddenly at her mothers word and she rose out of her stretch with an excited bounce. "R-really! Oh I'm so excited!!! The kit bounced up and around in a circle before pawing at her brother impatiently. "Come on Stonekit! I wanna go see the rest of the camp!"

"Ok geez coming" Stonekit said

IC: Cherrykit smiled up at her older brother. It had been explained to her, as much as she could understand, that he wasn't really her brother. That was why he was so much bigger than her, and so much closer to becoming an apprentice. But honestly she didn't care, as far as she was concerned he was as much her family as their mother.

Giggling Cherrykit skipped ahead of her brother and past her mother on her way out of the nursery, looking around the camp with wide excited eyes.

Whiteheart moved out the nursery with her kits in front of her. She used her paw to point at the apprentices' den. "That is where you will both stay during your training, along with all the other apprentice that are training." Then she pointed to the warrior den, "That is where your father stays all the time, and when you two gain your apprentice name I will return to the warrior den." She walked over to the prey-pile and pulled a mouse from among the other pieces of prey. "Here, eat up."

"Yay food" stonekit said

Cherrykit followed her mother, eyes open wide in aw as they were given their tour of the camp. When the trio stopped at the fresh-kill pile Cherrykit bounced in excitement. Nodding at her brother's comment, Cherrykit waited until Stonekit had taken a bite before taking a large one of her own.
