The silver tom stopped to look at Swirlpaw only a few pawsteps away.
"I'm not mad." He explained as he stretched his lithe body with a yawn, watching the tree tops. "I'm just better than them. Even if they are warriors." He explained arrogantly. "We should show them what real hunting looks like, Apprentices showing up the warriors would be great."

Blossomheart heard Sedgepaw's words. "I don't think so, Sedgepaw! Let's have a competition! Warriors versus apprentices! Whoever catches the most prey wins!" She said proudly. She spotted a blue jay and quickly jumped to catch it in between her paws, then slammed it to the ground, killing it. "Come on, Russetpelt, we'll show them!"

Swirlpaw smiled at the competition. She heard a rustle in the bushes and pounced landing on a mouse. She bit down and killed it.

Russetpelt smirked and nodded. He spotted a blackbird, and carefully stalked after it. He leaped and pounced directly on it, killing it with a deep bite.

Sedgepaw scoffed at the competition, though a small smirk showed on his muzzle as he heard a rustling noise and leapt at it. A squirrel darted out from the bushes and he launched after it, his claws digging deep into the bark as he landed in front of it, only for the squirrel to launch itself off the tree. He stared at where it had been running, perplexed. Squirrels normally didn't do that. That's when he heard a wingbeat behind him. A powerful, dangerous wingbeat that had him scrabbling down quickly to dodge as an Eagle swooped down from a nearby tree, scoring the bark where he had been.

Swirlpaw heard the eagle and ran towards russetpelt. She had no battle training and was really scared. She had no clue what the big bird was or why it was attacking but she did know that she wasn't prepared.

OOC: Hey Daisy, maybe you could have an easy change of plans; have her die by an eagle! Get carried away, killed, wrong herbs are used by Mintpaw, didn't get her to Mintpaw in time, just die right there and then, the possibilities are ENDLESS!

IC: Blossomheart gasped as she heard the eagle and whipped around. "What are you doing just standing there, Sedgepaw!? We need to drive it off or kill it! Come on, Swirlpaw, just jump up at it and use your claws on it! We'll make sure you don't make a fatal mistake!" She jumped up a tree and then, aiming her jump as well as she could, leaped. The eagle was under her now. Her momentum and weight dragged the eagle to the ground as she clawed it.

Blossomheart used Sky Drop, dealing 9 damage and using 10 stamina!

Russetpelt sighed and snarled. Seriously? "Okay Swirlpaw, I know you haven't ever fought yet, but you can do this. Once I strike, I want you to run at the Eagle, and slash it with you claws, them run back." (Have her use front paw strike) He hissed and lunged at the large bird, slashing his claws down its wing.

Russetpelt used Jumping Strike! Dealing 10 damage and costing 20 SP.

Sedgepaw turned to glare at Blossomheart.
"How about less meowing, more fighting?" He spat at her as he turned to keep an eye on the eagle as it flew down again. He leapt out of it's way as Russetpelt attacked it, digging his claws into tree bark as he heaved himself up when he saw the eagle coming back.  In position to make a solid hit while the eagle changed it's path. He yowled as talons slashed his pelt, attempting to make him fall. The eagle beat it's wings to drop down again and Sedgepaw saw this as his chance to leap off the tree onto the eagle's back. His claws sinking into the eagle's back with satisfaction until he realised what the eagle was aiming for. "SWIRLPAW! MOVE! "

Eagle used Talon strike on Sedgepaw. Sedgepaw used Sky Drop on the Eagle.
