Tawneypaw's Warrior Ceremony

Crowstar jumped up onto the tall branch and called out to his clan. "Let all cats old enough to climb a tree gather here for a clan meeting!"

Tawneypaw hauled tail out to the meeting area, she had a inkling on why Crowstar was calling the meeting, but she didn't want to get ahead of herself.

"Today we are gathered to name a new warrior." The tom scanned the crowd until his eyes landed on Tawneypaw. "Tawneypaw please come forward." He said waiting on the apprentice to come forward.

The tortoiseshell she-cat gracefully moved to the front of the cats that were gathered.

"I, Crowstar, leader of Skyclan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. She has trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend her to you as a warrior in her turn. Tawneypaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend your Clan, even at the cost of your life?" Crowstar asked, looking down at the graceful apprentice.

Tawneypaw listened to the words of Crowstar. She nodded and simultaneously said, “I do”. She waited for her leader to continue.

"Then by the powers of StarClan, I give you your warrior name. Tawneypaw, from this day forward you shall be known as Tawneyfur. Skyclan honors your all around skills. Congratulations." Crowstar said. He jumped down to get his new warrior, in usual manner. Another warrior for his ranks. He was happy.

"Thank you Crowstar." Tawneyfur nodded to her leader and turned to the clan to hear them cheering her new name.
