Sparkkit is Bored

Sparkkit gazed staring up in the sky. As the wind ruffled his fur, his eyes darted from cloud to cloud. He flicked off an irritating fly in annoyance. He was bored. VERY bored. "Do any of you want to play?"he meowed to the other kits in the nursery

"Hello, little one." Came a purr from across the camp. A pale apprentice approached; thanks to his acute hearing, he had heard the kit's question. "I may not be a kit... but I will play, if you want." He said, smiling gently. "My name is Softpaw. What is yours?"

Finally! Sparkkit jumped to his paws. "my name is Sparkkit!" he meowed. Suddenly he realized he did not know of any good games. "What games are there? I dont know any..." he paused to think of a good game to play.

"Hmm..." The pale apprentice paused, deep in thought. "Well, there a few games that I know of. Tag, truth or dare, would you rather, never have I ever... those are all that I can think of at the moment." Softpaw admitted.

Four games were enough for Sparkkit. At least they were games. "Let's play Truth or Dare then," he quickly decided.

"Ah! Okay then." Softpaw smiled serenely. "Though I find it's more fun with multiple cats, just the two of us can play as well. Truth of dare?"

Sparkkit thought carefully. "hmm..
Truth!" he meowed.

"Hmmm... how about..." Softpaw mused, trying to think of a question. "Oh! What was the most embarrassing thing that you have ever done?"

Of all questions, why did Softpaw have to ask that question? he did not like telling other cats of embarrassing things that he had done before, but he had to tell the truth. At least he could make it sound not as bad. "Once I was going to show my mom something, but I slipped and fell into some mud..." Sparkkit scrunched up his face as he told Softpaw what happened.

Softpaw let out a purr of amusement. "Don't worry, I've done far worse. Your turn now."

OOC: omgggg that's hilarious, I knew it would happen eventually! Sorry about that, fixed it now

Sparkkit thought for a long time. What could he say? Suddenly an idea struck him. "Have you ever been scolded by your mentor for something?" he asked



OOC : No problem! Also, Sparkkit is now officially Sparkpaw!

"Ermm..." Softpaw trailed off uncertainly. "I suppose... one time Silentstrike was in a particularly bad mood, and I had failed a certain battle technique multiple times... needless to say, I got yelled at. I was upset for a bit, but he apologized." Softpaw looked slightly disturbed by the memory, then continued the game. "Okay then. Truth or dare?"

OOC: Congratulations! Who is your mentor?

Fernfeather sighed sadly as she lay outside of the medicine den. She craved to be outside of camp running across the moor -- or at the very least seeing it. But she knew she would never be able to ever again. Hopefully there could be something she could do in camp that would help her pass the time and forget about everything else she was missing out on.

She overheard her brother Softpaw talking to the newest kit, and she perked up a little. She always enjoyed spending time with family, and with kits. She rose up to her paws and very slowly and carefully placed one paw in front of the other, following the two cats' voices. When she thought she was close enough, she stopped, not wanting to trip over either of them. "Er, do you mind if I play with you? I need something to do. You're... Sparkkit, right?" She asked the kit, but her unseeing gaze was looking at Softpaw.

Sparkkit found it strange that a warrior wanted to play with them. Shouldn't she be doing her other duties like hunting and patrolling? He took a closer look and almost let out a squeal of horror. This cat was blind! "Er, sure, I guess," he quickly meowed.

Softpaw purred gently at his older sister. "Hello, Fernfeather. Of course you can join." He lightly guided her to sit next to him with his tail, then turned back to Sparkkit. "So... truth or dare, Sparkkit?"
