Icky Cold (Open)

Quillkit stuck her nose out of the nursery. It was sunhigh but the air still held a cold chill. Stubborn patches of snow held there ground in the shade of the trees. "Ick!" Quillkit squeaked, "I'm not goin' out, nothin' can change my mind!!" She hastily backed back into the nursery and nestled in her family's nest, everyone had gone out at least for a bit and she hoped the warmth would still linger in the mossy bedding. She closed her eyes and expected that no one would drag her outside to play in the icky cold.

OOC: sorry I'm bored lol

Ic: DaisyHeart was laying on a rock outside of the nursery when she saw .her little adopted kit try to leave then go back in. She held back a snicker at how cold the kit could get. She got to her paws and stretched to see if quillkit wanted to explore/play with her. She smiled at the little spotteded bundle of fur. "hello quillkit." she said licking her.

Quillkit was happy to see Daisyheart, "It's too cold out! I'm not goin' out until greenleaf!!" She suddenly decided, having no idea how long that amount of time was. She tried to fluff up her thin pelt of fur.

DaisyHeart smiled. "aww come on don't you want to meet clan members." she said nudging quillkit to her paws.

"W-well," she considered this, she had hardly gone out since she was adopted into the clan, opting instead to stay inside the nice safe nursery, but maybe she was at least a little curious what about was outside the den. "Well maybe I should! Even though it's terrible out!" She hopped up to her paws.

She smiled and decided to stay by her in case she got cold. "well lets go visit my friends." she said smiling.

OOC: can I pm my TC friends?

Quillkit clung close to Daisyheart a bit worried about meeting new cats, "Mmhm." Quillkit nodded once, ready to go out.

Foxfire didn’t like the snow either. He could handle the cold, but the weird wet icy feeling on his paws when it snowed always made his tail twitch. He spotted one of his adopted hesitantly step out of the nursery. He smiled and padded over. ”Hello little one. You don’t like the snow either, do you? Don’t worry, you’ll get use to it,” he purred.

DaisyHeart licked Foxfire cheek. "i can't feel it through my fluffy fur." she said smiling.

Quillkit huffed annoyed, "Lucky" She mewed, nuzzling into Daisyheart's warm fur, "The snow is wet and gross. I don't want to ever get used to it I'll just wait til greenleaf to leave the nursery!"  She angrily stated, still on the idea that that was not a very long time away.

"Greenleaf is still quite a bit away, little one." A russet apprentice purred. The tom leisurely approached the small group of cats. "Though you're in luck! Newleaf is when most of the snow melts, and that isn't too far away." He mewed. The tom then brightened as he remembered to introduce himself. "Oh! My name is Sunpaw! I don't think we've met before, have we? What's your name, then?"

DaisyHeart looked at sunpaw. "hello I'm DaisyHeart." she said smiling.
