"greetings, Swiftstar!" mewed SunPaw respectfully.She nudged Featherkit to show some respect.

"Hi Swiftstar." Bright smiled at the leader.

Featherkit hesitated for a moment, think of something insulting to shoot at Sunpaw, then she decided she should just follor her advice. "Hello, Swiftstar. Chase any rabbits lately?" she said genuinly intrested.

Moonsage bowed his head formally at the leader. "Swiftstar, glad you could have joined us."

Swiftstar rolled his eyes at Featherkit's comment, and he sat down. "What is happening? Our lives were so peaceful, now everything is war and death... I already lost my first life. " He said reluctantly.

Moonsage pretended to be shocked. WindClan cats weren't the toughest of the Clan cats... It's a wonder he hasn't lost eight lives yet. And Jaystar, minus being Swiftstar's brother, is also his enemy. He would like to know about this. "That's horrible," Moonsage said.

Bright gave him a side ways glance. "Tell us everything Swiftshadow."

He lowered his head, looking a bit overwhelmed and embarrassed. "It... It was a poisoned rabbit. It had some kind of silver Twoleg stuff in it. I ate it, and i couldn't breathe. Moonmist wasn't there. " He said.

"two leg stuff?"

"Hm... Windclan should inspect the food before eating now."

He shrugged. "After i ate it, i noticed a similar, though faint, nevertheless there, scent on a couple others. I got rid of them, but no others have that." He said. "But what is happening to you? " He asked Brightfire, eyes filled with concern.

"I am going to die at the hands of a warrior Swiftstar. It's inevitable."

He bowed his head, tears began to drip. "Why?... And who?"

Brightfire went over to him and nuzzled his pelt. "I don't know. But it'll be okay. I'll visit you when ever you want. In your dreams that is." Bright smiled at him. "Don't be sad."
