Moonsage frowned. "Why would you want to di▬" He caught himself, it wasn't kind to use that word. "Go to StarClan before your time."

"Because I believe it is my time Moonsage. I won't be missed much. Maybe my family but that's all." Brightfire smiled.

"the clan will miss you!"

Moonsage frowned. "What about the other Medicine cats and I?"

"But they will get over it. Lilypaw will be just as good as me. Maybe even better. And Moon it doesn't seemed like you really ever liked me."

"you will always be remembered, always missed.... how would lilypaw feel? she would be suffering the most!"

"Sunpaw. You don't understand. Starclan came to me. They told me my time was nearing. There is no way around it."

He frowned, yet again. "No, Brightfire, it's not that I don't like you, I do, really. And not that Lilypaw will not make a good Medicine Cat, you are just as good as us, maybe better, and you're a good friend. Please don't go."

"Moonsage. I have known you since you were a kit. It'll be hard to leave my friends behind but I know I will be back. Just not in this body."

SunPaw should had respected the medicine cat's decision earlier. now she bowed her head ashamed of how foolish she must have looked.

"if they have sent for you, then i guess you should."

Moonsage glanced at Sunpaw, and mouthed 'Not helping.' He then turned to Brightfire. "If that is your wish, I will not stop you." He sulked.
