Owlkit's apprentice ceremony

Swiftstar had alerted Owlkit and his to-be mentor. He leapt on the Tallrock and called, "All cats who are old enough to catch their own prey join beneath teh Tall rock for a clan meeting. "

Petalpaw emerged into the clearing and sat down below the Tallrock.

Owlkit stepped from the nursery for the last time, her tortishell fur gleaming since she just groomed it. She Walked near tall rock.

Rainfall came out, approaching the Tallrock with pride in her eyes.

Owlkit took a glance back wards, Rainfall! she thought, Was she going to be my mentor?

"Today, we gather for a kit who has waited many moons. As have we for a new apprentice. I know this is not ordinary clan custom, but i must mention. " He paused, letting his gaze sweep over his clan. "Windclan is weakening. This is the first kit to be apprenticed in moons. We must all go on more border patrols to make sure the other clans do not try to advantage over our weakness. Now, to the ceremony. Owlkit, from this moment on, until you recieve your warrior name, you will be known as Owlpaw. Rainfall, you shall be her mentor. Pass on all the knowledge you have into this new apprentice, and Windclan may survive yet. " He said.

Rainfall smiled sadly at Swiftstar, then stepped forward and touched her nose with Owlpaw's.

OCC: We're supposed to touch noses!!!!
