The Ultimate Meddie Adventure

OOC: Remember, this topic starts in Fourtrees, but ends up here. I only want this plot to last a few days, so post as much as possible!

The clouds were wispy when Mintpaw started on the path towards Fourtrees, but her whiskers trembled. The entire forest seemed to be holding its breath, although for what Mintpaw couldn't say. All she knew what that by the time she arrived, she could see a thick, dark mass of gray looming over the horizon. The taupe apprentice shook her head as she stared up at the clouds for a moment, but was soon distracted by the streams of golden sunlight that filtered their way through the trees, sending the remaining snow into a frenzy of brilliant sparkles and flashes. She purred in amusement as a young, brilliantly red squirrel ran straight through her paws, chattering and scolding all the while. She must've disturbed one of its caches.
The young apprentice paused at the edge of the clearing, looking down the steep hill at the lush clearing before her. Even in Leafbare, the harshest of all the seasons, it retained it's wild, clean beauty. Instead of dulling the grassy clearing, the frost seemed to make everything clean and crisp. Mintpaw grinned to herself, marveling at the beauty of the world.
Her murky green eyes traveled to a nearby heap of snow, and she fought the urge to leap into it. She was here on a mission, after all. Her very first herb-gathering trip! Oceanlight had given her very specific instructions- grab some Burnet and head straight back to camp. "Round leaves, small flowers." She recited quietly, mostly for something to do while she searched for the plant. "Burnet... stops bleeding. Eat before going on long journeys."

Nettlesting was glad for the peace and queit for once. His reddish paws took him across the swamps of ShadowClan. His territory was bare of herbs. Nothing. Leafbare better end soon, or it would be bad for his clan. Deciding to do something risky, the sarcastic tom headed for Fourtrees. Upon arrival, he spotted Mintpaw. The SkyClan medicine cat apprentice whom he had quickly surpassed. With a jog, he arrived in front of the cat. "What are you looking for?" the tom asked with no warning of his presence.

On days when there wasn't anything pressing on her mind, and often on days when there was, Featherpaw liked to spend time thinking at Fourtrees. It tended to be quiet there, and that was something she liked about it.

Today, it happened, was one of those days, and the eldest medicine cat apprentice in the forest made her way there slowly, taking the time to appreciate the world around her. She knew leaf-bare was the most dangerous season, but perhaps it was her still rather childish understanding of such things that led her to love the sight of the snow as much as she did.

Still, while she journey was certainly equal to the destination in her eyes, eventually that journey had to come to an end and that destination had to be reached, and Featherpaw found herself at Fourtrees at last. It was then that she realized she wasn't the only cat present. Indeed, there were seemingly two other cats already. Nettlesting, ShadowClan's medicine cat, and a cat she didn't recognize.

"What are you doing here?" she asked, curiosity winning out over a desire to observe.

Maplepaw was on her way to Fourtrees. She had been collecting herbs along the way. She told herself that Fourtrees was the farthest she would go. The sandy colored medicine cat apprentice wasn't paying much attention to the herbs as she was the swirling thoughts in her mind. She was still getting over Honeyspark resigning her medicine cat position. She was also still recovering from the trauma of the war. After a few minutes of day-dreaming, she snapped out of it. She was at Fourtrees but she wasn't alone. The other medicine cat apprentices and Shadowclan's medicine cat were there too. Her forest green eyes widened. Why were they here? She walked closer to them with a curious expression. "H-Hey! Why did you guys come here for?" she questioned them.
