Tripping over words (open)

Rainkit padded out of the nursery. He was bored, and didn’t quite know what to do. He hoped there were some other cats he could play with.

OOC: shoooooort also if anyone wants to be mean to him about his stutter, you can, and if anyone wants to be friends with him, you can. xD (cuz yeah he has a stutter)

Sandkit was lying down in the nursery sleeping. She sensed some other kit step on her bedding as they exited the nursery. She opened her eyes, annoyed, then decided it was time to wake up. She stretched her way out of the nursery while breathing in the fresh air the weather provided. She stalked towards the center of the camp. Sandkit spotted a gray tom, across the fresh-kill pile. She stood up immediately and tried to sneak her way back into the nursery. 'I don't want anyone to bother or notice me..."

Rainkit looked and saw another kit come out of the nursery. But why was she going back into the nursery? He tried to run up to her but tripped. But he managed to get to his feet pretty quickly. ”Hey! Wh-What’s your-your name? I’m-I’m R-Raink-kit,” He mewed, hiding his face a little. He knew his voice was weird, his mother said it was called a stutter. He preferred not to talk because of it, but he was feeling lonely by excluding himself from everyone else. Now he wanted to try and meet more kits.

Sandkit dashed towards the nursery. The tom noticed her. 'Oh dear...' She turned around slowly and opened her mouth to say to leave her alone. She stopped when she noticed something peculiar about the kit. He talked in a weird voice. 'Why is he stuttering?' she thought, 'Don't make fun of him...' Sandkit didn't want to be a bully, she was just naturally grumpy. "Hello, Rainkit." she said slowly, trying hard to be nice for once, "I'm Sandkit." She winced, hoping she didn't fail.

”Um, it’s n-nice to meet-meet y-you. Uh, do you wa-want to p-play something-thing?” Rainkit asked. He was gonna point out that he stutters, but it’s already pretty obvious. ”What do-What do you l-l-like t-t-t-to do?” Er, that one wasn’t good.

Sandkit winced. 'This is really weird...' she thought. She kept wondering about his voice. "Not to be rude, but is your voice okay?" she asked. Being nice was very hard for her.

Rainkit saw that coming. ”M-My voice? Y-Yeah, it’s ok-k-kay. I was kinda just-just b-born with this b-bad st-st-stutt-ter,” He explained. ”Not s-sure if it’ll-if it’ll ever go-go aw-way, or get bett-ter, but I k-k-kinda just have to- have to accept it-it for now.” He didn’t like the stutter, but he’d hopefully get use to it.
