Rosekit's Apprentice Ceremony

Ashstar leapt onto the Tallrock. "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather underneath the Tallrock for a Clan meeting!" she yowled commandingly.

Rosekit awoke from the booming sound of a voice, a familiar voice. Their leader called out to the clan, instating a gathering of the clan take place. She had heard her do this before but she never really understood it, even though the elders had explained it plenty of times.
This time she was going to see what all the commotion was about, maybe it actually involved her? She wouldn't know until the leader announced it. So quickly she jumped out of her nest and skipped into the clearing, intrigued by what was happening. As she left the nursery she looked up to the leader and felt a sudden burst of pride at the realization of how cool they were.

Ashstar nodded approvingly at the young kit. "Rosekit, you have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Rosepaw. Nectarleap will be your mentor. I hope he will pass down all he knows on to you."

Nectarleap padded over to his fourth apprentice, a smile on his face. He hoped he could teach her everything he knew. He touched his nose to the newly named Rosepaw. "Training starts at sunrise."
