The warrior glanced a new animal not far from her. This time, it was a frog. Those were kind of easier to catch for a ShadowClanner like her. The brown tabby feline hid in a bush and waited patiently until the slimy animal was close enough. With a surprise attack, she caught it with her claws and killed it with a strong bite on its neck. At least what she thought it was a neck. It was hard to tell.

Newtface couldn't help but grin as he spotted a vole scurrying around in the white snow. The little rodent paused to look down at something that had caught its interest. The warrior, not caring what it was looking at, decided to stalk forwards with the same silence and stealth that had caused him to catch the first frog. The vole stiffened as if it was about to run off, and the calico tom paused stiffly as well. After he realized that it wasn't going to move, he continued to creep forwards until he was a fair amount of mouse-lengths behind the vole. Once again, in almost the same movement as before, he leaped forwards with his speckled front paws outstretched. The vole seemed to notice Newtface's shadow as he loomed over the rodent, and it attempted to scramble away, but the calico cat caught it between his paws and instantly snapped its neck in another swift motion. He felt rather proud of himself. Burying the dead rodent in the fluffy snow, the tom glanced left and right once before continuing on.

Tansyheart spotted a mouse between two tree roots. Its small ears twitched, as if it had heard her, and she froze. After a moment, it went back to scuffling in the snow. The blue-eyed she-cat watched it curiously for a few seconds, wondering what it was trying to do, before remembering that she was supposed to be hunting it. She stalked it carefully, sure to stay downwind from the small rodent. Once she was close enough, she leaped, nearly missing the mouse, but at the last second she caught it in her jaws, killing it with a clean bite. Frowning at her sloppy catch, the warrior took her prey back to where her lizard was buried.

As she continued walking, Cedarstorm almost forgot about the other two warriors. The silence of the marshes relaxed her and good memories of her and his mate made her smile while she stalked a mouse. With long but quiet moves, the she-cat approached her prey and soon her fangs were sinking into the soft flesh. The taste of the rodent in her mouth reminded her the day when Crowfur confesses his feelings for her and how they started being mates. Even if that was moons ago, she still remembered like it happened yesterday. However... reality soon reached her and her happy expression faded when the warrior remembered the condition of her sister. The blue-eyed feline buried the mouse with her other catch, promising that she would give Curlyfeather a piece of fresh-kill when she returned to the camp.
