What a chilly hunting day!

Mallowbrook felt amazing today despite the cold air that blew around her. She had recently become a warrior which meant she could lead a patrol. The warrior walked over to the camp entrance and sat down. Her blind eyes looked to nowhere in particular as she waited for somebody to join her.

Blazingpaw ran up to Mallowbrook with a grin. He had been stuck in camp, bored out of his mind. Once he had spotted the warrior walking to the camp entrance, he immediately rushed to her in hopes of getting out of camp. "Hello Mallowbrook! May I join your patrol? I really wanna get out of camp!" he spoke. His fluffy fur swayed under the chilly breeze.

Mallowbrook smiled as she heard the energetic Blazingpaw ask her if he can join. She nodded quickly. "The more the merrier!" she replied. "We'll just have to wait a little bit more for others to join before we head out." she explained.

Timberpaw woke up because of some noises of talking somewhere in the centre of the camp. But it was not exactly the talking which made her to stand up; it was magical word patrol. Immediately she stood up and exited the den, padding towards Mallowbrook and one of SlyClan apprentices. She mewed quickly; "Hi, Mallowbrook! May I join you?"

Silentpaw shyly walked over to Mallowbrook, Timberpaw, and Blazingpaw hoping to join them on the patrol. "H-Hey guys. C-can I join you on the patrol?" he asked quietly. His fluffy coat shivered as a strong and cold gust of wind blew past him.

OOC: Sorry for the wait! I got caught up in something!

IC: Mallowbrook smiled as Timberpaw came up to them soon followed by Silentpaw. "Of course you can guys!" The warrior got up and signaled for them to follow. "I believe this is a decent sized patrol. Follow me!" Mallowbrook began to lead the apprentices to a nice area to begin hunting. Once they were there, she looked back at them with her milky blue eyes. "Okay guys! This is where we'll begin hunting. You may split up but remember to not stray too far. Call out if you need help and meet up here when you're done. I know you are all going to catch a lot of prey!" With that, the blind warrior left to do some hunting of her own.

Mallowbrook found herself stalking a bird that was occupied. She had heard the ruffling of its feathers. The warrior determined where it was facing by where its calls were directed to. She readied herself and soon pounced. Mallowbrook felt its warm body under her paws. She quickly killed it and hid it safely in a nearby bush. She walked off in search of more prey.

Blazingpaw had took off after being dismissed by Mallowbrook. He quickly began to scan the area around him for any signs of prey. The orange tom spotted a rare lizard. He wasted no time in pouncing, afraid that it might run away. The apprentice had successfully caught the lizard and swiftly killed it. He hid the dead slimy creature and began to hunt for more prey.

Timberpaw padded away from her clanmates and started searching prey, but she had her eye on the cats moving somewhere behind her.
Then she decided to look at the trees and soon discovered moving on the old oak tree. Swiftly she climbed on it watching carefully to be quiet and to not fall down. Then she jumped a little ahead with lifted paw and hit the squirrel which fell down from the tree. Fall was surely strong enough to daze the creature so Timberpaw could end it.

The fluffy tom nodded and went on his way. Silentpaw soon found a nice and plump hare. He then pounced, hoping he'd catch it. He successfully caught the fluffy creature and then killed it. The apprentice hid the prey and went to go look for some more.
