A dark walk{open}

Darkpaw left camp really early just to get away from it all. She couldn't decided what was worse being bored or being alone. She decide to take a walk by the river to help her clear her thoughts. Her first thought was why wolfpaw was acting a little different. The second question was what would happen to wolfpaw when she became warrior and if he would still play with her. While she thought she almost tripped on a stone and fell in water but she quickly placed herself before falling. She looked around hoping nobody saw her trip or she would be embarrassed.

Beepaw had been wandering around ThunderClan territory, finally free from the restrictions of being a kit, when he stumbled upon the river. Ah, so this must be where the RiverClan cats are from... He quietly padded through the snow over to the river, taking a look at his distorted reflection and trying to see if there were any fish in there.
Suddenly, Beepaw heard what sounded like another cat come from the other side of the river and looked up, seeing this stranger nearly trip. He didn't think much of it, but still backed away shyly. He had never seen this cat before, let alone any cat from another clan. He looked at her as if she had just landed from another world, not sure of what to say or do.

She noticed a little cat over the river and smiled. "hello over there don't worry I won't hurt you. Hey do you know my friend spottedpaw?" she asked still smiling. If this cat was friends with one of her thunderclan friends that means she can friend this cat also. She had friends all over the forest mostly in thunderclan though. She sat down and smiled at the strange cat.

OOC: she doesn't know about Spottedpelt warrior ceremony so she still says Spottedpaw

"Spottedpaw...." Beepaw paused for a moment, trying to remember. "Ah, you mean Spottedpelt? She's alright. I normally don't talk to other cats, but she's nice."

Wait did she hear that right. "you mean to tell me my friends are warrior." she said with a surprised tone. "well my name is darkpaw what's yours?" she asked smiling.

"I'm Beepaw." he replied. "How long have you been an apprentice? I just became one, so it's interesting to be able to leave ThunderClan camp and look around, but now I already want to be a warrior."

She smiled at how big the newly apprentice was. "well being apprentice is great but I'm going to be warrior soon." she said bragging.

"What in the name of StarClan are you doing near them?" Minnowslip spat out from where she slipped out through the reeds. She gave the ThunderClanners a disdainful look and deliberately walked with a haughty posture, claws out in case they tried anything funny.

Flickerpaw hissed. "Beepaw, you should have known better than to talk to Riverclan cats. They'll tear your pelt off!" She glanced around at the Riverclan warrior and apprentice. "Who are you, and why do you care about Spottedpelt? Our clans are supposed to be enimies."

"We're supposed to be enemies? This cat seems alright though." Beepaw said naively. He glanced back at Darkpaw, who was now also getting yelled at by someone of her own clan. How odd, he had never heard of anything like this as a kit. He had only been raised to respect the other clans and maybe not think about them too much. He was never told of any sort of conflict between the clans. "If anything, they'll rip your pelt off for being so aggressive. Darkpaw and I were just talking!"

Darkpaw hated getting yelled at more then anything. "You are so wrong. Other clan cats are nice." she hissed at the warrior not caring about her. She hated to get bossed around by an adult that didn't even know that cats she knew in the other clans. She turned to look at the other apprentice. She remember daisyheart talk about her a lot. "Well Spottedpelt is one of my best friends. We met at a gathering. And I also know your mentor flickerpaw." she said a little angry cause she was still mad at minnowslip.

Flickerpaw flicked her tail back and forth(no pun intended). "They're keeping Sunningrocks from us." She said coldly to Beepaw. "I don't know about you,
but doesn't that sound a LITTLE stalker-ish? Whoever you are, Riverclan cat, why do you know who my mentor is? It's not like Blizzardstar announced it last Gathering." She wasn't ready to completely trust the Riverclan cats. Not within the next moon at the least.

"They're our enemy, their leader declared that she's going to take our lands. Now isn't the time to make friends with ThunderClan, Darkpaw. Go befriend a SkyClanner or ShadowClanner, if you must. C'mon, let's head back to camp." She didn't like how much Darkpaw knew about these ThunderClanner, after Ivystar's public dismissal of disloyal cats, she didn't want to see another apprentice head down this path. There was no greater shame than being declared disloyal to their clan. Darkpaw had such a bright future ahead of her, Minnowslip wouldn't let her fall behind.
