Back Into The Fray! [open]

Birchheart was slowly getting into her duties, taking mostly border patrols and staying up late at night to practice her pounces. She had only gotten her name a few sunrises ago but, she was using her rank to slip out and try to catch prey. Without her parents' help with her new obstacle, it took longer than it needed to. However, she was doing her best and that's what mattered, right? She hoped so. Birchheart spent her nights in the medicine den in order to allow Maplepaw to keep an eye on the wound but, she didn't spend full days in there anymore. Stretching out her legs, she left the den for the morning, hoping to catch a dawn patrol. She gave her fur a wash while she waited for others to wake up.
