Getting Stronger Together (CLOSED)

The tom chuckled and gave Foxpaw a friendly nudge with his shoulder. "Uh? Do you think you're ready with battling? Nah... We're just taking a break for today but expect more hunting and battle training in the future, Foxpaw! If you want to become a big and strong warrior, then you must train as much as you can!" He mewed, encouraging his apprentice with a warm voice as he smiled at her. When was the last time he truly smiled after Honeydrop's betrayal? His new apprentice gave him the chance to forget for a while about that and just remember how he used to be: a light-hearted and extroverted cat that was happy by being by the side of his clanmates.

With one of his big paws, he shook the fur of the apprentice's forehead. "This was just your first day, kid. We have a long way to go before you become a warrior like me. Just keep working hard, okay?"

Foxpaw laughed a bit too. She was silly to think she'd mastered a hard activity like that in one day. Her mentor's encouraging words lifted her. "Of course I have a long way to go." she said, "I will train very hard, so I can become a good warrior and play my part in the clan."

Foxpaw glanced at Firestone's wounds and winced. 'Ouch...' She turned to her mentor. "We are going to the medicine cat's den... right?"
