Half Dead, Completely Deaf (For either med cat)

OOC: She has wounds all of her body which are coated with mud. One on her ear is infected and a few across her body. She's gonna get a bad fever and go totally deaf.

IC: Nothing seemed normal. Curlyfeather's vision seemed fuzzy from lack of energy, her whole body ached and stung from all the scratches. The painful sound of claws on stone rang loud in her ears, causing her already horrible headache to be unbearable. She honestly felt more dead than alive. It would be a stretch to say her pride hurt more than her body, but not too much of one. A single ThunderClanner had managed to beat her, as well a driving her to this level of pain.  Her single ear was torn and stung with infection, as well as more wounds across her body. She collapsed at the entrance the medicine den, to weak to cry out either of their names. It was a miracle that she had even gotten this far. Unknown to her, a feather was stuck to the mud on her fur. That would only make her more angry. She made a noise that she hoped was loud enough to get cat's attentions, but the painful high pitched sounds were the only things that she could hear at all. Her mind swam with pain and she was just barely able to keep from passing out on the spot. It was obvious that the warrior needed medical attention as soon as possible.

Sycamorepaw was arranging the little herbs they had left. The bareleaf was hard on the stock. The red tom turned as he heard a thud, his nose cluttered with the smell of herbs. He spun harder as he saw the mess in front of him. "Oh, Curlyfeather!" the apprentice rushed over, and immediately started muzzling over her. "What happened? Never mind, I need to get to work on you!" Sycamorepaw picked her up from her scruff and dragged her farther into the den out of the snow. Immediately he started licking the mud off of her, spitting it to the sides. He managed to uncover her ear, and it was badly infected. He would treat the infections later. He needed to stop the bleeding first

The tom worked fast and swift, cleaning the mud from her fur and patching it with cobwebs. He had tunnel vision, only his patient in view. Soon, she was clean and covered with cobwebs. He whispered loudly. "Curlyfeather, can you hear me?"

Curlyfeather grunted gratefully as Sycamorepaw dragged her into the den. Though she was full aware that he was helping her, each lick still caused her to wince in pain. It was her ear that hurt most, both from the ringing and from the infected scratches that covered it. The cobwebs felt restricting and uncomfortable, not making her feel much better yet. But they stopped the bleeding and gave her a little more energy from not having to worry about them anymore. She could tell he said something, but had no idea what it was that he had said. "I Can't hear."

Sycamorepaw stopped. "Y-you can't hear?" his voice trembled. With Roaringblaze gone he wasn't equipped for this yet. He had hardly been an apprentice... He would start with what he knew. Maybe if he cleared up the infection... He got to work chewing up Horsetail. As he used the rest of what he had and applying it to her, he changed the cobwebs to new ones. The herb would help her infections and stopped the bleeding. As he finished, he spat out the taste and turned back to Curlyfeather. "C-can you hear me now?"

The chewed herbs stung at first when applied to her wounds, causing her to let out an embarrassing whimper of pain. But after the initial sting, they were actually soothing and cooled down her burning scratches. He was acting like how Roaringblaze had the first time this had happen. He had been an apprentice then and had assumed she had a concussion and some bad cuts. He had been wrong then, but she had still recovered. She would recover this time, at least that was what she thought to comfort herself. But there were a lot more wounds, and the dip in the dirty mud probably filled them with infectious parasites. And the ringing hadn't stopped yet, when the last time it stopped as soon as she had time to relax.
